There are like a dozen Sentais with Man in the name. I'm sure we'll be fine.

So I was talking this over with a native speaker and he thinks it's going to be a Japanese legend-themed Sentai. ___Taro is a very common name in legends, and the word "donburako" (onomatopoeia for being carried along a river stream) is immediately recognizable as a word mostly commonly known from Momotaro.

My prediction: The main team will be Momotaro, Kintaro, Urashimataro, Kaguya-hime and possibly Oto-hime or Ori-hime, and the bad guys will be based on oni.

The official reveal is usually on Boxing Day, isn't it? None of Toei's social media have mentioned this yet.

According to Tokunation:

*Red Ranger Don Momotaro
*Blue Ranger Saru Brother
*Yellow Ranger Oni Sister
*Pink Ranger Kiji Brother
*Black Ranger Inu Brother

So...are we getting a male pink? On the poster, Red's hand is in exactly the right position to cover up Pink's skirt area.

Given a couple of the rumors I've seen on Reddit about this series, I would not be surprised.

The big rumor is that this is going to be a Zordon-era Power Rangers style sequel series to Zenkaiger. As in, a couple of the current Rangers will be on the new team.

One of the returning characters is supposedly Jyuran. And what's going to lead up to that is Don Momotaro showing up at the end of Zenkaiger, him using a Geartlinger to transform (instead of the official changer for next season), and his bike/mech joining with Jyruan like Gaon normally does.

The other rumored returnee is Kaito himself. And if this is true, then I think he's the Pink Brother. It fits with his desire back from the beginning of Zenkaiger to be "the first in the world to" do something for him to be the first official male Pink. There's also the Red + White = Pink thing to lean on. Plus it's kinda amusing for Kaito to be a male Pink after being the rainbow-clad "LGBTQaiser".
