Why are people raising their voices about this sexual harassment on female staff now, not years ago?

I feel like this sort of thing has always been happening in the background, but probably isn't said out loud. It's probably pretty hard for that stuff to come public, especially in Japanese society

Me Too never really caught on in Japan and it's much harder to sue/prosecute because almost no one will take it on unless you've got a slam dunk case.
