Again, 913 is still bad. The newest volume I read is basically Masato getting curbstomped by a new bad guy, the Peacock Orphenoch. And that's before Masato gets schooled by Hibiki/Peacock in a violin contest because he's Murakami's chosen one/Lucky Clover member, complete with a really atrocious backstory that you can expect from Inoue.

Hibiki was a Ryusei student taken in by a family. He and the family were in a plane crash near snowy mountains. The family decides to kill Hibiki, with no indication whatsoever that they were evil beforehand. After doing exactly that, Hibiki became the Peacock Orphenoch and killed the family in return

Oh, Hanagata gets killed in Volume 3. He's not the greater good character from the show, just a goofy salaryman under Murakami.

Still no signs of Yuji, Yuka and Naoya. I'm getting the feeling that Hibiki is some negative version of Kiba without the appropriate character development he got in the show.

That's super weird man. Inoue definitely seems like he's best when he has some editor controlling his wacky impulses
