I'm very confused as to what the bad guys' plans are. Normally you don't want to both enslave someone at the same time as brainwashing them into fighting for you

I strongly suspect that only the lead actress is any good at stunt fighting. That's a pretty rare skill. And shorty's lack of height would be a further issue in trying to stage any hand-to-hand combat.

This one doesn't seem to be getting much traction on youtube. I wonder if it will make them shy away from a senshi themed show?

I strongly suspect that only the lead actress is any good at stunt fighting. That's a pretty rare skill. And shorty's lack of height would be a further issue in trying to stage any hand-to-hand combat.

This would also be a huge logistical problem for a Sailor Senshi production. Primarily because the senshi will not henshin to the point where it would be acceptable to swap in a suit actor. So for a five senshi team you would need 1-2 JAV girls who could stunt fight and 3-4 regular actresses trained in stunt fighting who would not mind being associated with what is basically a commercial for a pr0n.

You could go the parfait route and have all the senshi use ranged weapons, but I cannot see that being a popular decision. These sort of shows gain quite a bit with the heroes kicking butt up close and personal, and the logic of the show frowns on using ranged weapons at the beginning of a fight because of mooks or hostages.

As for this episode, the trying to jump and failing with embarrassing sound effects in the most relatable thing they have given the actress to do so far. To go with the Sailor Moon example, Usagi's most endearing feature is that she would get beaten down at the beginning of a fight to an embarrassing degree until the other senshi or Tuxedo Mask showed up to give her a pep talk and an opening to attack. In the first two episodes Fontaine doesn't seem to have many problems which is really against the Mahou Shoujo playbook. If they had followed the playbook then Fontaine would be lagging academically and perhaps even bullied by the other students. And, the chalk would have hit her right between the eyes.

I think that I figured out what Giga Tokusatsu shows have been missing so far (besides all the other obvious stuff): they need ending theme dances! Admittedly, it didn't save Literary Sentai Sabergers, but only had three of the dozen people do the dance. They would have to pay a little more for a second song for the show, but at least the non JAV guy actors would have no reason not to do the dance.

I don't know if anyone really cares, but would it be of value to have a thread keeping track of the Giga titles that directly relate to the Youtube shows? (By directly, I mean that we can probably ignore the 80+ Fontaine titles that occurred before the Youtube series since they do not feature the same actress. And, we can ignore titles featuring the featured actress of the series if she is not playing that character, unless that would be another list.) If for no other reason, to see if Giga thought it was worthwhile to spam product for those titles.

Looking at the Wakusaver wiki it lists episode 6 as DVD release. I was referring to the related releases on the Giga website. I think there have been 3 more Wakusaver themed (if you can call it that) titles. Since these titles are probably non-canon to the series I can understand them not being on the wiki, but I think it would be good for the curious to have all these titles listed in one thread.

Oh yeah, those pornos. I dunno, if you want to make a thread or update the wiki to keep track of it, go for it. I think I'm less interested in that stuff personally since I'm probably not going to watch it anyway
