GIGA Tokusatsu in 2021

So 2021 was the start of GIGA's grand experiment in parodying tokusatsu to sell their pornos. How have people found it so far? I'm always surprised by the little details that I find myself appreciating. Sometimes the fascination is a bit like not being to look away from a car accident. But other times, I'm genuinely appreciating the flawed effort that goes into these shows. And at around 10 minutes each, I don't find myself getting too mad if it's a filler episode

So which series have been your favorites? Do you like the Sentai parody of Wakusaver? The writing of Dinnovator? The pretty girl in Kougaiga? The action in Fontaine?

In addition, what series do you want to see GIGA parody next?

Wakusaver was definitely very good visually, and I like the fact that they are incorporating more and more side characters as they go (Wakusaver had like none of them, and in Fontaine there's her family and a whole class)

Dinnovator's still the strongest series. But even then, all of this is getting graded on a curve. The short nature of the series remain the biggest hurdle, as it precludes more complex plot/characters.

Despite absolutely wooden acting, I still like Fontaine best. It's got pretty excellent action and probably the strongest plot of all the series so far. It's definitely the one I'm most likely to recommend to someone to watch.

She has a appealing smile, that's for sure.

And, she has done several other roles including a Sailor Senshi one if seeing her as a non-villain appeals to you.

Thanks so much for the hard work! I know we lost our sentai and kamen rider on TVN, but I would honestly prefer to NOT see anymore Giga shows on TVN. That's just my opinion. I would much rather see other types of non-Giga shows and obscure movies. Chousoku Parahero GandD was excellent. If it's going to have adult themes, I want Keita Amemiya behind it. But honestly keep doing what you enjoy subbing.

Sure, but it also doesn't take a lot of work to sub GIGA shows since they're so short. I really need to figure out how to add a backburner project into my schedule so that I can work on it regularly. Weeklys are a little easier to manage because of the time constraint

honestly i do think they are neat i kinda just wish there were more i understand them being a promotional thing for the jav but they have a opportunity to be more
