Aww, poor Haruka. Still going through her trauma. Interesting that they made an ISBN number for the back. Doesn't the barcode usually match up though?

She dismisses DonMomotarou, but just last episode she thought pink was Momoi Tarou just because he was pink. DonMomotarou has a peach in his forehead!

Still no end sequence. And blue's still not a member of the team. They're taking their time with each of the new characters. I like it!

Not perfect, but still a very enjoyable show so far. Haruka's still a fun character to be our point of view and it doesn't hurt that she's cute. Tarou shows a bit of his serious side here, which is very nice. And even if he's honest to a fault, he has enough emotional intelligence to phrase things smartly. There's telling the truth, and there's being a dick about the truth, something I'm not sure we're really taught when we are young

Edit: Oh and Tsuyoshi keeping his identity secret from his wife, another Inoue trope

-Rashonomiya might be a reference to Rashonmon, the titular gate in the Kurosawa movie. It's also made of the kanji for "compass" and "life"

Edit: Rewatching it, Kijino's backstory is pretty confusing since it's almost completely out of chronological order. Let's see if I got this right
-Kijino meets his wife
-They get married
-He gets Go-Bustered
-Dislocates his arm
-He meets Tarou who fixes his arm
-He fights with OniSister

Maybe the last two can be swapped, wasn't sure if meeting Tarou was in this episode or part of t he flashback

Yes, Kaito at the end of the ep 01 22:03 it's clearly a Zenkaiger Medal. but in episode 02 22:31 now it looks like it's a completely different type of medal Donbro. He even shows of the one he got previously. did i miss something here?

Aight i rewatched it multiple times. When Black uses the medal for the first time it turns from a Zenkaiger Medal into a DonBro Medal. Still so fucking weird though. Cause last episode when the Kaijou dies he receives it as a Zenkaiger Medal. This time when the Kaijou dies he receives it as a DonBro Medal. I still feel like i'm chalk this up to the fact that maybe their medals weren't ready when filming. Which is a possibility with how things have been lately.

Kind of disappointed that we didn't get a male Ryusoul Pink suit. After Flint as Twokaiser last year as well, they seem to have lost interest in gender swapped suits.

So this episode we meet the second Space Jacker: Another Heure, sidekick of Another Schwartz, and Another Soujo gets his second world gear on his road to becoming the demon king of the universe. No idea though why beating up the Denoliner was able to give them a world gear.

No idea why the fugitive sentai talks exactly the same way as Another Schwartz. I was confused at first thinking they were the same guy.

If Red does bring good luck, shouldn't OniSister's luck change the moment Red bonds with her thus removing OniSister's reason to fight?

If the Sentai had been ineffective this episode then Garo could have shown up and removed the inga from the horror victim.

If OniSister has a bunch of spare time, shouldn't she walk around the city with her They Live sunglasses and preemptively beat up the mooks?

Are these CGI battles really going to sell Megazords? Since they are basically showing a video game, why would anyone buy a character as a toy?

Will beating up a MOTW themed after a car themed ranger get them multiple gears (the real one and some spares)?

The pink ranger should take a cue form Ahim De Famille: you don't have to like all of your gokai changes.

I wonder what "Men on Tokusatsu" would think of Pink's character?
