Come on, mate. "I was in a bad mood" is not a good excuse for shoplifting. Also, 9000 yen is less than 60 quid. Like, could you really not stretch to that, mate?Today, April 8th 2022, Yutaka Kobayashi, best known as Kumon Kaito/Kamen Rider Baron of Kamen Rider Gaim and also the member of BOYS AND MEN group, had his contract terminated by his agency.
Turned out Kobayashi had shoplifting case back on October last year. He commited the crime at a pharmacy in Shitencho shopping district on Fukuoka, just during the closing time of the shop where there weren't many employees nor other customers, on cosmetic section where it was the blind spot from CCTV. He managed to take 6 various cosmetics products including hair wax for total 9000 yen and ran away from the store.
Fortunately, a lot of witnesses were there and with the help of passerby riding bike, he was caught. He begged to not involve the police on the matter and offer the 10,000 yen for the items he stole, but police were still called. Kobayashi didn't get arrested because he got bail and the total damage was less than 10,000 yen. He came to the store the next day and apologized to the store manager. When his agency is asked about this matter, they said Kobayashi confirmed about his crime. He said he did it because he was upset/having bad mood at the time. Through police investigation, it was known that he had similar case back during his middle school days, thus possess the know-how of shoplifting.
Incidentally, Sengoku Ryoma's actor got in trouble for groping women in clubs a few years back. Something about Lemon Energy Arms makes you a criminal.
