I dunno. There were moments where I thought she did a good job posing and dishing out the one liners, but there were other times were the acting was the usual GIGA fare

Don't really love the costume or the action in this one, and the preview's not super doing it for me. Got a lot of stuff on my plate currently so this is going on the "Wait and see" pile

I'm pretty behind on stuff so not at this time. I wasn't super impressed with the first episode. The plot is pretty straightforward anyway

I tried to watch it raw but gave up in frustration after a couple of minutes since my understanding of spoken Japanese is pretty poor. Maybe I will try again tomorrow.

Are the villains the grownups from the Charlie Brown specials turned evil?

Giga seems to have a lot of reverence for the really stupid tokusatsu cliches. I would have preferred if they subverted them, like having Sena only pretend not to know that Riho is Spandexer, or have Spandexer carry with her a mini-drone with a camera to explain why her fights are on TV.

The fight was okay. I thought the fight was going to get NSFW until Spandexer got her unexplained power up. The absence of combatants was different. I guess with her power up she can now dispatch the combatants and look cool while doing so? Maybe do the Fist of the North Star gimmick where she hits each one of the combatants once, and the MOTW asks if such a puny attack will hurt them, and then Spandexer snaps her fingers and all the combatants fall over and explode.

Next episode we should see more of Nana Maeno character General Zora. She has a lot of "evil general" presence. It would be cool if they went the Dinnovater route and had her dress as a human as a decoy.
