Hitotsuki/Human host/Series Red relation

So we know the Hitotsuki are themed after previous sentai, although the reasoning behind the theming is ??? at best.

I was thinking, what if it's not the series itself, what if it's the desires/weaknesses of the Red of that series?

Ep 1 Ryusoulger - Host wants to be the best, number one, beating all rivals
Ep 2 ToQger - Host wants to be younger
Ep 3 LupinRanger - Wants to steal lights? okay this one's weak
Ep 4 OhRanger - Haven't seen, can't comment
Ep 5 PatRanger - Wants to catch their target no matter what
Ep 6 Jyuohger - Wants to help people
Ep 7 Fiveman - Wants to teach kids
Ep 8 Kiramager - Wants to draw
Ep 9 Go-Buster - Wants to play? This one's weak too
Ep 10 Gokaiger - Wants to become talented mangaka? This one's also kinda weak
Ep 11 Ninninger - Wants to be the best ninja
Ep 12 Kyuuranger - Wants idols? Stars? Lucky didn't have much personality besides saying his name all the time
Ep 13 Kyouryuuger - Wants to be the center of attention


A couple of these are weak but I think it's a possibility, especially with the Ninninger Hitotsuki such a dead-on caricature.

I definitely don't have enough evidence to say any of this is wrong. But the MOTWs have been all over the place - almost frustratingly so. So I wonder if we're looking for a pattern in which there's none. It wouldn't be the first time we've assumed Toei has put some real thought into something when they're really just winging it.

That said, it's certainly the most interesting idea I've heard so far. It does explain at least some of the MOTWs better than other theories.

As I said, it's not a perfect theory, but I think it's slightly closer to base things on the Red than the series in general

MOTW wants to collect idols, Kyuuranger collects Kyutama that contain power of the stars. Lucky's roll call is also "Super Star! Shishi Red!" , so... kind of revalent I guess?
