I didn't like the new suits at first, but this is growing on me. I'm still super confused as to why they needed Giff's cells and why the stamp was flying back to Giff

Oh it's like Gatakiriba but out of control. That's a pretty broken power

The final remix is Vice turning into a ball? At least the double kick was cool

So why did they need Akemi and the dad's cells?

This episode was so weird and disjointed. The show has simply accumulated too much baggage and finally got around to some much needed plot housekeeping. The way it was done wasn't elegant or graceful.



Overall, it feels like they want a soft reset of the show to get back to basics. Hopefully the nonsense with Daiji won't last much longer.

In retrospect, it would've been more enjoyable for Papa Genta to intervene when Daiji was about to hit Ikki. He could've scolded them, saying that it isn't right for his kids to fight like this. This would also bring back themes of family in a clean and natural way. The family should've been much more harsh with him. He left them to protect them, but Vail ended up targeting his kids anyways. That is not that different from being a noble idiot.

George's relationship with his Daddy has a lot of untapped potential. This episode gave us a hint at what it could be like.

It's pretty natural for a show to have a slump in the third quarter. A year's worth of story is a long time! But it's too close to the end to kill off the main baddies. But it's too late to really introduce a new storyline. So you're just kinda stuck?

Like, I really like Hiromi. He didn't get jack to do upon his return. Like he talked to Daiji, but yeah...

And like Build, the overseriousness is kind of hurting the fun of the series? Akemi's dead and the dad had major heart surgery, but that doesn't matter. The family laughs it off at the end. But ooh wait. Daiji is on some angst-ridden trip and is either evil and serving Akaishi or mad that Ikki killed his not-girlfriend or he's lost his sense of justice? Do you see why I have problems with the writing in this show?

They need Akemi's giff cell since Akemi herself has become demon at that time, if I remember correctly, it was Akemi's idea to use giff's power to take down giff.
Since Akemi is gone now, then the dad suggest to take his, since he has giff's cell as well.

is like back to first episode, where either George or Wakabayashi mention use demon to take down demon

Right, but why was the surgery stopped. Did they get enough cells to create the Vistamp? If so, that wasn't clear to me, hence the confusion. It just seemed like a new Vistamp appeared out of nowhere and that it didn't seem like they needed the Giff cells to begin with

The surgery stopped because Ikki interrupt it just before they reached 100% since he didn't want his dad to die. At that point, the Vistamp flew off towards Giff which 98% was enough to complete the Vistamp.
