What a blast from the past. Definitely a recommend if you haven't seen it before. A lot of nerdy stuff. A lot of actors that you'll see in toku. Including but not limited to:

Isurugi Souichi from Build, Kiryuu Dantetsu from Kyouryuuger, Demon Knight from JustiRisers (Lock Dealer Sid), Kogure from Lupin, Watcherman from W, Igasaki Tsumuji from Ninninger,

It's been a few years since I watched this. Still has warm feelings in my heart. Looking back on it, it's a mix of a romantic comedy and a character driven story. The plot itself is pretty simple, but the richness of the characters makes up for that in spades. I do wish the story developed Yamada and Saori equally, instead of Yamada dominating most of it. At least, that's how I remember it.

I haven't seen this since I first watched it but remember being really impressed at the casting. Yamada was geeky but not over the top so, and while some of the later episodes tended to the melodramatic, it never lost its charm. I think adding in the netizins helped a lot and added a sense that you too were one of them, cheering him on.

I don't recall the movie being good either. I wish they'd release the show on Blu-ray. One unfortunate thing about the DVDs is the licensed music is replaced

the series is great & fun to watch. i enjoy all of it.

It's been a few years since I watched this gem, at the insistence of my sister. The feels I got from it were off the chart, only aproached recently by Tokusatsu Gagaga. This rebatch gives me a great reason to watch it again.

And yes, I haven't been here in a while, and specifically logged in to comment on this show. That's how good it is.

!!!!!?!?!?!?!!??!!???!!??!?!?!?!??! Why did I wait so long to watch this? I guess I though it was like akihabara@deep which I watched a couple of episode of and didn't really like so I just kind of wrote it off.

It might have been the ELO music that tipped me into really giving it a chance tbh. I love them and it fits so well with the anime that I am surprised their stuff hasn't been used in more.

Normally I just super binge these totally subbed shows but I like the anticipation so much that I keep limiting myself to keep it going.
