From what i've seen, the "up to 20 years" is typically only if they go to trial and are proven guilty. Typically, after indictment, the defendants will be offered a plea deal. Not too sure what the current standard sentence is nowadays for fraud, but based on this article, he wasn't one of the leaders, so it's quite possible the prosecutor will go easy. Depending on his lawyer, he might be able to get away with probation and paying the money he received back to the government. I see, worst case, maybe 5 years on prison, max.
And, of course, he could very well be innocent. But cases like this, they usually don't indict unless they have the evidence to convict. And if found guilty, i guess his PR days are officially over. I just can't see Hasbro bringing in a convicted felon on a show meant to provide good role models. But who knows.
