Is this a Three Seaters clip show? I'm enjoying it because the Three Seaters are entertaining, but weird? I love the shitty crayon drawings of the boonboomger symbols in the reenactment

GDI, stop standing off to the side Genba. All dressed up to be a cat boy and nowhere to go... Ugh, forced drama. So annoying. The rest of the episode was going so well too

Wait, are the Three Seaters dead? It certainly looks like Boom Red dealt a fatal strike on Mad Rex. Oh good, they're alive, but for once the bad guys are the ones with the bandages. Are the Three Seaters the secret main characters of Boonboomger??

Well, that was a weird mix of highs and lows for me. Also, I feel like there's been a feel episodes with false starts that make you think it's gonna be a clip show, but ends up not being one. But... why would you do that on purpose? People will think it's a clip show and stop watching

I loved all the stuff with the Three Seaters. It's drama with stakes, they're motivated and it's a relatable emotional stake. /me looks at the Boonboomgers and wonder if he feels any emotional stakes from what's going on with them...

The mecha fight was good. They don't do anything mind blowing, but it's fun to see actual drama happenign with the robo fight. Like the good guys actual struggle a bit before taking out the enemy robo, and Mad Rex seeing Boonboomger Robo overhead and feel traumatized from it is good character and plot work

But here's another week where the Genba stuff is such a disappointing let down. Why's the heroes' best plot arc feel like a total sidelining? Such wasted potential and it kills me each week

Like I don't really care about the Grand Prix or the Hashiriyan threat, but I did care about the Three Seaters and their relationship with Mad Rex. It's weird but I really rooted for the bad guys this week. Despite its flaws, think this episode deserves a 5 overall

I'm actually rooting for the Three Seaters. They're straightforward and earnest and doing their best. They're the real heroes.

After all that, they thing that brought Madrex back was the Boonboomger Robot Knight that defeated him. I'm looking forward to see how he'll kick Disrace from the back.

Lol why did Decotorade have considerably more bandages than the other two.

Nice of Shashirou to save the expensive car from being crushed.

Boondario's constant puns was annoying in this episode. I get they're trying to lightened up all the other serious stuff that was happening, but it's just really out of place and irritating. His stupidity of not even slightly questioning the legitimacy of Ittasha's call wasn't helping either.

I don't really get what Genba was doing. He made this big deal of fighting Disrace on his own, but he wasn't even actively looking for Disrace. He just popped up where the Boonboomgers were fighting hoping they'll have a lead. So... why not just stay with the team in the first place...?

The title for this episode is "Rampaging is mine", which is also Madrex's catchphrase. This was proposed by Producer Kuji. For Madrex, rampaging is bakuage. It also means he's in control of his own steering wheel when he's rampaging. It's a clever title.

When the Three Seaters did the Boonboomgers rollcall, the font looked weaker than the real thing, and the Boonboomgers logo that appeared at the end was also a bit wrinkled.


The "Delivery"

Ittasha comes up with a strange idea to contact Taiya.
"If we use the BoonBoom Danger that activates the BoonBoom Killer Robot, wouldn't it connect to BoonBoomgers?"

Reason: Because BoonBoom Danger and BoonBoom Changer look similar.

That reason is stupid.

Someone brought this up during a script meeting when the question was asked.
"What would we do if the Three Seaters wanted to contact Taiya and the others?"
"Danger and Changer look similar, so why not just use that?"

Nah, that's so stupid.

And the Three Seaters also wrapped their boss up in a plastic sheet.


The Cave

The cave's a very cold location, so here's a rare off-shot of them making a fire even though it's summer. Iuchi-kun was having fun with his breath.

こちらは久慈P案で、「“俺”はディスレース？マッドレックス？」というメモと共に提案されました。
マッドレックスにとっては暴走することがバクアゲであり、
そうすることが自身のハンドルを握るということなのでしょうから巧いタイトルです。

字体も本物と比べて弱そうな感じです笑
決めポーズの時に出るブンブンジャーマークもなんかヨレヨレ。
本物と見比べるとこんな感じ。

頭をひねったイターシャが迷案を出します。
ブンブンキラーロボを起動するブンブンデンジャーを使えば
ブンブンジャーに繋がるのでは？？
理由：デンジャーとチェンジャーが似ているから。

これは脚本会議の際に「サンシーターから大也たちにコンタクト取りたい時ってどうするのか？」となった時に誰かが言い出したんですよね。
「デンジャーとチェンジャー、似てるからいけるんじゃないですか？」
いやだから、んなアホな。

Disrace was great this episode too, even though he basically didn't do anything! When I saw the carjacking gimmick, I also got excited. I wonder how it would work with the "sentient" toys, like Marine or Safari.

The Three Seaters are really like Team Rocket in so many ways. They are goofballs to a fault but lovable goofballs. I can easily imagine them working with the Boonboomgers on the side of good and being on the side of victory. Whenever Team Rocket was on the good guys' side, they were winners not the constant losers they were. I do like rooting for the villains from time to time.

Oh man I just had a thought in my head. Since the Three Seaters are like Team Rocket and Boondario was the voice of Satoshi in Pokemon, the Three Seaters easily tricking Boondario is a weird callback to Team Rocket constantly tricking Satoshi and his friends with their lame disguises.
