Honestly, I really hope not. If you have too many big celebrations, it kind of makes them all less special. (Although I found that element of Zenkaiger underwhelming anyway.)

Animals, I suppose its been 9 years since Zyuohger, better than the 4 years gap between car sentai we have the now with Kiramager/Boonboomger.
No more Car sentai for a while please.

Heard rumours on twitter that Black and Green will be colours this season and that this will be the first female Black hero, would be cool if true, I think its the only main colour left that hasn't had a female yet (Orange, Grey and Brown being the other's, two of which have only ever been used once and one was a joke from what i hear)

They didn't, they only count as 1. They're both 42.

If you count them separately, you'd also have to count things like the Gouraigers or Go-On Wings, which are officially different teams. Or Doubutsu Sentai Go-Busters.

Isn't Gozyu some sort of pun on "50", its like "number 1 sentai 50ger" so its kind of like a double meaning on the 50th year and 50th team.
I'm pretty sure Lupin and Pat officially count as two different teams by Toei since unlike the Gouraigers and Wings they never officially form a single sentai team.

Didn't go well with me– I'm all for having that part entirely in kanji (Ninninger had already done its part breaking a "tradition" of having no more than two kanji making up that name, don't like to see even bigger "tradition-breaking" now)

nah i get that they'll both always be recognised as 42 cause of the "serial" number but is this confirmed by Toei anywhere? I'm sure I remember them being introduced years ago as 42 and 43.
either way the pun in the name still works cause they are technically the 50th individual team even if they'll always be number 49 by serial number
