After 2 episodes, I feel Inoue Akiko try to create the same style as her father.
The plot is chaos like Donbrothers. But still be excited what will happen next.

Still really not feeling this. They're going with the Donbrothers approach of not really telling the audience what's going on, but the difference is that Donbrothers had enjoyable characters to make you want to keep watching. Gozyuger has a bunch of insufferable pricks.

Sadly so far with every Reiwa Sentai, my initial impression has ended up largely being my opinion of the whole show, so I don't expect it to improve, but hey, they might surprise me. So far in Reiwa we're very much alternating between me liking and disliking the shows. The even numbers (Kiramager, Donbrothers, Boonboomger) seem to be massively better than the odds (Zenkaiger, King-Ohger, Gozyuger).

I'm stunned that Hoeru stole all the treasure to win, I thought for sure the lesson was gonna be that the kid's treasured onigir was more valuable than actual jewels and gold because of what it meant to him and that would be why Hoeru won, i'm pleased this did not happen.

So Yellow and Blue are annoying lol one is a religious nut and the other is an ego centric scam artist but hey they returned everything so it's all good.....not.

Bad guys are fun, I like the villain monsters being actual people.

it is pretty funny that our anti-hero red is like "I can be like the bully and just steal all the treasure needed to win"

Bat-shit crazy characters, insane plot, everyone prefer to work alone, humans are the monsters, the structure of the ED leading into the preview... The whole premise has a very Don Brothers 2.0 feel. I hope Inoue can shine through her own style and not copy her dad's template too much.

So uh, is Tegasword robot singular, and just switch gears depending who's piloting? Is this another GoodStriker situation where it's not possible to have all five robot appearing together?

Hoeru's actors is really stiff. He said in the announcement meeting that he's working hard to improve, I hope he gets better over the year. Based on preshow materials, I'm more interested in Yellow and Green, and Yellow didn't disappoint. Looking forward to Green next week.

You know the villains are fun and adorable when the general is gripping a group photo he took with a mook.

Episode Titles
Producer Matsuura came up with the idea of ​​adding some ingenuity to the way the episode titles are displayed. Rather than just displaying them as titles, he wanted to make the titles look more appealing by treating them as props or other elements on the screen. For this reason, the props team and staff work hard to make it happen.



Also, as this is an anniversary production, the titles incorporate elements from past Sentai teams that are appearing in each episode. As expected, Producer Matsuura pays attention to even the smallest details. I really admire him.

Opening Song
The opening theme "WINNER! Gozyuger!" is sung by Wienners. As you all know, the key action for Tegasword's transformation is clapping. The song incorporates a lot of clapping, making it lively, bright, and easy to sing along to. Behind the scenes, everyone was working hard to memorize the choreography in between filming.

I met Rikuo-sama during a break in filming.



"Hey, Rikuo-sama? What are you doing?"
"I practice every day so I can give the best autographs to all my fans. You can be proud of my autographs."

During free time in-between filming, Suzuki-san was practicing signing autographs in preparation for his role as an idol. He looked so serious about his role that I couldn't help but want to cheer him on! Keep up the great work!!


Bridan Castle in No One World
Mr. Shining Knife is voiced by Sugita Tomokazu-san & Mrs. Sweet Cake is voiced by Ueda Reina. They are one of Bridan's executives and the chief of staff. They are also a unique character, a married couple whose love has gone too far and they have merged together. Please look forward to the unique dialogue and love between the couple!

About the character designs of the Bridan members, they have the theme of "marriage" and were created and designed based on that theme.

Matsui-san and Jinnai-san of "Planner 104 (企画者104)," who have been part of the planning and production of the Sentai series for many years, have been involved in this work from the early stages of production. The two are in charge of coordinating the monster designs and creating the settings, and they have put a lot of details into the designs of the Bridan executives and the No-One monsters.

For the character design of Bridan, we have brought together the three strongest people who have designed monsters in the Super Sentai series so far!!!

i) Character designer Shinohara Tamotsu (Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger, Avataro Sentai Don Brothers, etc.)
Shinohara, who is known as the "number one cool monster designer" with his well-thought-out settings and meticulous details, designed Fire Candle, "King Candel, Ai-i, and others. Ai-i's champagne bottle-style weapon was an idea from Shinohara.



The role of Cassios Bear was played by Inoue Jun! Here's a quiz for you. The armband on Ai's left arm has a hidden meaning that is unique to the 50th anniversary of the Sentai. Everyone, try to think about it! (*This was designed by Jinnai-san, one of the planners at 104.) I remember Matsuura-P's eyes sparkling when the design for this armband was being finalized. I'm sure one day, Matsuura-P will explain it to us!



ii) Illustrator K-SuKe (Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger, Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger, etc.)
K-SuKe, the "number one funny monster designer" who is known for his fun puns and dioramas, designed Mr. Shining Knife & Mrs. Sweet Cake and the Bridan Castle interior asset image. The image of a mandarin duck is hidden in Knife & Cake.



iii) Manga artist Hisa Masato (Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger, Kaito Sentai Lupinranger vs. Keisatsu Sentai Patranger, as well as his own serialized work Kamuyaride, etc.)
Masato Hisa, the somewhat challenging and tricky "number one diagonal monster designer," designed Bouquet and the first guest monster Treasure Hunt No-One. Hisa's sense of fun shines through like why a hawk ended up on the hat.



For Bouquet, Hisa was particular about the "spiral" of her hair, so we tried matching wigs to see how we could maintain the spiral curls, and we selected the shade of pink to match Marupi. As with Fire Candle, the staff all discussed and built the character.


The ring warriors
When we asked Director Tazaki about episode 2, he said, "The scene where Ryuugi carries the piano was shot using a new method, and it was a challenge. I'm glad it turned out well." The scene where he carries the piano was shot on location, partly against a green screen, and the scene where he plays the piano was shot in a different location, also against a green screen.



Next up is Rikuo! He's a charismatic genius super idol, who became a former super idol after a certain incident. As expected, his entrance scene was that of an idol. Action Director Fukuzawa also expresses Rikuo's gracefulness.



In many Sentai shows, the transformed characters pilot the robots inside the cockpit. But this time around, they pilot without transforming and wearing the cockpit transformation suit. In this scene, Hoeru had his foot on the control panel, bringing out his bad manners as a personality trait of the character. Also, if you look closely, you'll see that there is a hole in his left sock, emphasizing his poverty. On the day of filming, Director Tasaki looked at the monitor and suggested, "I'd like to put holes in the socks. What do you think?" Producer Matsuura replied enthusiastically, "That's a good idea!" And so the decision was made to put holes in the socks. Although Fuyuno-kun seemed a little embarrassed by this sudden request, he acted the scene well.



At a certain mansion. A close-up of the letter shows a tear falling on the character "money (金)". Behind the scenes, the director, the production team, and the cameraman were doing their best to film the tear. The tear wouldn't fall in the right place, so the director impatiently asked "How many letters do we have left?!" as he continued filming. It's a scene that really shows the hard work of the staff.



By the way, did anyone notice that the old lady's obi was decorated with a "tsubo" (a jar)? It was a clever touch by the costume department.



Tegasword Yellow debuts!
The Tegasword and Tyranno Hammer 50 combine to become Tegasword Yellow. And once again, Effects Director Butsuda told us what to look forward to.

"We put a lot of effort into making sure that Tegasword Yellow's entrance scene was different to that of Tegasword Red in episode 1. Tegasword Yellow is a power-type robot. To emphasize its power and weight, the moment the robot lands, a blast of earth and sand is made to go up, creating an explosive scene."



Between the enemy and Tegasword Yellow stood an abandoned building. Effects Director Butsuda deliberately chose a model of a dilapidated abandoned building and placed gunpowder in the gaps in the building to make it collapse during action scenes. He said that this technique created footage that exudes a sense of impact and power that is different from CG.



The final scene was the enemy turned upside down in the air by the finishing move Tegasword Driver, slamming it into the ground. This was a scene that Director Tasaki suggested to Effects Director Butsuda. Director Tasaki commented, "Is there a way to make the enemy characters more interesting and show them being blown away? For example, maybe they were buried in the ground upside down?" Director Butsuda then had an idea, "In that case, let's use a wrestling move from a certain anime!" However, due to the fact that robot was turned upside down, for safety reasons, they apparently filmed it without a suit actor, and instead stuffed something like a sponge into the suit.



I was also surprised at how many photos there were of the making of these sparkly treasures... And there's even the Tegasword omelet rice... There are always stories of hard work from the Gozyuger staff.

皆さんもご存じの通り、テガソードの変身のキー・アクションは『拍手』です。

撮影の合間に陸王様に出会いました。

【Mr.シャイニングナイフ役：CV. 杉田智和さん】 &　
【Mrs.スイートケーク役：CV. 上田麗奈さん】のお二人に演じていただいております。
ブライダンの幹部の一人であり、参謀隊長でもあります。
そして、愛が行き過ぎて融合してしまった夫婦という異色のキャラクターです。
杉田智和さんと上田麗奈さんが演じる、ユニークな夫婦の掛け合いや、独特の夫婦愛にご注目ください！

ブライダンたちのキャラクターデザインについて
ブライダン幹部たちは「結婚」というテーマがあり、そのテーマによって作成、デザインされています。

戦隊シリーズの企画・制作に長年携わっている「企画者104」の松井さんと神内さんは、本作の制作初期から参加されています。お二人は怪人デザインのコーディネートや設定作りを担当し、今回登場する「ブライダン幹部たち」や「ノーワン」という怪人のデザインにも、細部までこだわりを詰め込んでいます。
今回のノーワン（怪人）まわりについて、詳しくお話を伺いました。

ブライダンのキャラクターデザインには、これまでのスーパー戦隊シリーズで怪人をデザインしたことのある最強のお三方に集結していただきました！！！！

【カシオス・ベアー役：CV. 井之上 潤さん】に演じていただきました！
ここでクイズです。このアーイーの左腕についている腕章には戦隊50周年ならではの意味が隠されています。皆様、考えてみてください！

Ｍrシャイニングナイフ＆Ｍrs.スイートケーク：K-Sukeさん
ダジャレとジオラマ的アレンジが楽しい“オモシロ怪人デザイナーナンバーワン”のK-SuKeさんが「Mr.シャイニングナイフ&Mrs.スイートケーク」と「ブライダン城内部アセットイメージ」などをデザインしました。ナイフ&ケークには、おしどりのイメージが隠されています。

ブーケ・トレジャーハントノーワン：久正人さん
ちょっとチャレンジングでトリッキーな“ナナメウエ怪人デザイナーナンバーワン”の久正人さんが「ブーケ」と、そして今回一番最初に登場したゲスト怪人「トレジャーハントノーワン」をデザインしました。なぜ帽子にタカが混じってしまっていたのか、久さんの遊び心が光ります。
ブーケは髪の毛の『らせん』に久さんがこだわっていましたので、かつら合わせなどをして、らせんのカールがどうやったら、維持できそうかチェックしたり、ピンクの色合いもまるぴさんに合わせて選定し、ファイヤキャンドルと同様、スタッフ皆で協議しながら、キャラクターを構築していきました。

ノーワンが街を破壊し宝を探していると、そこに指輪戦士たちが現れて

２話について、田﨑監督にお伺いしたところ
「竜儀がピアノを担いでくるカットは、新しい方法を使っていて、ひとつの挑戦でした
うまくいってなによりです」と語っていました。

ピアノを担いでくる場面は、ロケ地にて一部グリーンバックを使用し撮影、
さらに、ピアノを弾くシーンは別の場所で、グリーンバックを使って撮影しています。

続いては陸王様の登場です！
百夜陸王は、カリスマ性あふれる天才スーパーアイドルだったのですが、ある事件をきっかけに元スーパーアイドルになってしまった肩書の彼…やはり、登場シーンはアイドルでしたね。
福沢ＡＣ監督も陸王の軽やかさを表現しています。

多くの戦隊作品では、ロボットのコックピット内で変身したキャラクターが操縦することが多いですが、今回は素顔のままでコックピットに乗り、コックピットの変身服を着ているのが特徴です。
このシーンでは、吠が操縦台に足を乗せていることで、彼の行儀の悪さがキャラクターの個性として表れています。
また、よく見ると、左足には穴の開いた靴下で貧乏感を強調する演出が施されています。
実はこれ、撮影当日に田﨑監督がモニターを見ながら「靴下に穴を開けたいなぁ。どう思う？」と提案したことから始まりました。松浦Pは「いいですね！」とノリノリで返し、そこで靴下に穴を開けることが決定しました。
この突然の演出に、冬野さんは少し恥じらいを感じていたそうですが、しっかりと演じていらっしゃいました。

一方で陸王は…ある豪邸におりました。
手紙のアップで『お金』という字に涙がこぼれる演出…
裏では監督、演出部さん、カメラマンさんたちが一生懸命、一粒の涙に向き合っておりました。
しずくがなかなか、上手いところに落ちず、監督は「手紙はあと、何枚ある？！」と焦りながらカウントし、撮影を進めていました。
スタッフの努力が伝わってくる１シーンです。

最後に婦人の帯が『壺』だったのを気づいていただいた方おりましたでしょうか？
衣装部さんの粋な演出でした。

テガソードイエローが登場！
テガソードとティラノハンマー５０が合体し、テガソードイエローになりました。
アイアイザー・クロサンドラ（カシオスのロボ）とのロボ戦が繰り広げられます！

そして、今回も佛田監督に見どころを教えていただきました。

1話で登場したテガソードレッドとは異なる登場シーンになるよう、こだわりました。
テガソードイエローはパワー系のロボであり、パワーと重量感を強調するために、ロボが降り立つ瞬間に土砂をバァーっと吹き上げ、爆発的なシーンに仕上げたそうです。

そして、敵とテガソードイエローの間には廃墟ビルが立ちはだかります。綺麗なビルでは生々しいため、あえて壊れかけの廃墟ビルの模型を選び、ビルの切れ目に火薬を仕込んでアクション時にビルが壊れる演出を行いました。
この手法によって、CGとは異なる迫力とパワーを感じさせる映像に仕上がったと佛田監督は話していました。

最後のアイアイザーを空中で逆さにして、『テガソードライバー』の決め技をし、ズドーンと地面に叩きつけるシーン。
これは、田﨑監督が佛田監督に提案したシーンで、「もっと敵のキャラクターが面白く
吹っ飛ぶ見せ方はできないだろうか？例えば、地面に埋まって逆さになっているとか」という田﨑監督のつぶやきに、佛田監督が「だったら某アニメ○○〇〇〇のプロレス技だ！」とひらめいて、あのようなシーンが生まれたそうです。
ただ、アイアイザーを逆さにするという演出から安全面を考えて、スーツアクターさんはなしで、スポンジのようなものを詰めて撮影したそうです。

また、このキラキラお宝のメイキング写真が多くあってびっくりしています…
そして、テガソード様オムライスだって…苦労話がつきない『ゴジュウジャー』スタッフあるあるです。

勲章の元ネタは『秘密戦隊ゴレンジャー』で名前の由来もゴレンジャーのモチーフであるカシオペアと「熊」野大五郎に因んでベアーから来ていると思われる。

Cassios Bear is based on Gorenger：

This seems like a fun show. But, are the Sentai supposed to be the heroes or the villains? The Gokaigers' job was as villains but the often acted heroic in spite of themselves. Are these guys going to be heroes who can't help but act like bad guys?
