I thought Shouma was going to protect Rakia but I guess he wasn't big enough. Jeebh hiding behind the whims of his wife instead of confronting SHouma

Is Sachika really not going to become a Rider? We have the bubbles updated for Shouma's ice cream and Hanto's frappe forms. Meanwhile Sachika is still a bubble of her legs bouncing up lol

Shouma's clothes have changed into the green form. Sachika's pants are extra shiny today

It's nice to finally see some stuff going on with our main antagonists. But after being ignored for over half the series, it's the slightest bit weird for it to suddenly shift to "and here's the real villain in control of everything". It's probably the one weak spot plotwise

I dunno, while I don't know if I thought anything was particularly exceptional, overall everything in this episodew as just very good? Good writing, character interaction, plot, and action. Just feels like a 5 without anything crazy happening plotwise. Maybe it's jsut the halo of the rest of the series just being particularly strong in general. Or maybe I'm overthinkiing it and it just is that good

Honestly when Bocca was feeding the Dark Treat to that other guy, his reaction made me think he'd poisoned him.

Prediction at this point, Jeebh is gonna be the final boss of the series.

After everything that happened in the Clone Wars arc, these last few episodes were a good...um...return to form I guess?

The writers must've felt like it was time to slow things down for now and let the characters all simmer as this new plot builds.

I like the President. He gives off Kingpin vibes without having to be as brutal as Vincent D'Onofrio’s version. You get every aspect of his character in the few minutes he has on screen; his political maneuverings with his allies, using the Dark Treats to expand his control, gaining information on how the transformation devices the Stomachs use, and even subtle threats to Lango all show this guy knows how to use his power.

Somehow, Jeebh transforming into Shiita was both creepy and heartbreaking, though I do have a question- when the granutos transform with those devices, do they also get human genitals as well? Weird ask I know, but it'd be interesting to see just how advanced that tech is.

Lizel is an interesting character as well. She (for now) seems to care for Jeebh like a pet she picked up off the street, but I do wonder if there's actual attraction there. Not to mention girl can hold her own. One blast and Shouma and Raika instantly de-transformed.

Sachika discovering what the presses look like so late in the series was great in terms of world building. Still waiting on her Kamen Rider transformation, if those bouncing bubbles in the intro are any hint that she will.

Jeebh returning back to Stomach Inc and instantly relegating Lango to his old position is perfect karma, and as Takenoko mentioned, Glotta's actress does the disgusted face so well. Woman might not have that much screen time, but boy does she know how to maximize it.

Off topic, but has there been any news about a Gavv summer movie yet?

Just found an announcement trailer. No real details, but there's a July 25th release date.

Vram tanked the attack in his base form, while Gavv needed his Gurucan form with ultra high defense stats.

That candy shop guy is so sus. Definitely a Granuto.

The lunch scene is interesting:
- Shouma is eating onigiri
- Rakia is eating stones
- Sachika is eating sandwiches
- Hanto is eating a bento

I'm glad Hanto being a journalist have an actual impact to the story.

Lol Hanto is trying to show up his love rival.

I feel like Lango is playing 4D chess. He didn't have a way to get the Dark Candies to the upper class before, and now Bocca is doing that for him. Once that's done, Lango could get Bocca addicted or even kill him off, then he would be in charge again with even more power.

The Stomach family feud, love and hate
Shita makes her first appearance in a long time! The Mimic Key that was broken in episode 14 has been repaired. I never knew there was a way to use a Mimic Key like this! However, Jeebh's chance of meeting Sheeta is no exsistence. The person reflected in the mirror is someone he wants to meet but cannot.

Kawasaki-san and Koga-san met on set again after a long time! Welcome back, Shita.



The Želudac Residence
New characters aren't the only new additions to this new chapter. A new asset (3DCG space), also known as the "Presidential Residence", has also been introduced.

How can we convey the addition of a new force to Gavv's world? We once again asked BlackFlame, who created the assets for Stomach, to create the new assets very quickly. The costumes are the same, but with a design based on a noble white color that contrasts with Stomach's dark colors! Even though it's called the presidential residence, it's a castle-like building that reigns over the sky, and the Želudac family crest designed by Tajima Hideki-san is incorporated inside.

Looking at the details, you can see that ingenuity has been put into every detail. Filming with assets unfamiliar to us was difficult, but the shots that the director was aiming for, such as the open atrium shot showing the sky, were perfect!



A new Granuto Maagen appears at the presidential residence. He seems to be an influential person that even the president has a hard time dealing with...a nd he's been offered some dark candy!? Maagen is voiced by Takagi Wataru-san.



The Granuto Hunt
Once again, Higo Katsuhiro-san made the battle fun with a succession of great lines. Last time he was a spectator at a basketball game, but it turns out he's actually runs a bathhouse. When we were casting, we asked him to play the role because he seemed like the perfect man for a bathhouse. (And it's not a hot bath!!)



A double ice transformation followed by a double rider kick! After Frappe appeared, we really wanted to see Gavv and Varen's ice line up! So this time they succeeded in defeating the Granuto with some rich, cool action. There may have been a lot of serious battles recently, but some fun actions are good too!



Birthday off-shoot
Shoji-kun (Rakia) celebrated his birthday during Director Morota's filming. He was presented with a cake by Chinen-kun (Shouma), the group leader! Congratulations Shoji-kun! We all took a commemorative photo together, including the director! Speaking of Rakia, of course it's pudding . We asked a cake shop near the location to make a special-ordered giant pudding cake! lol



Not only Shoji-kun, but Tsukamoto-san (Lango) also celebrated his birthday during this production! It's a birthday rush! Director Morota Satoshi is a magnet for birthday celebrations. We were able to celebrate big brother Lango's birthday with all family members (including the new sister-in-law, Liselle)!

久々のシータの登場！
14話で壊されたミミックキーは修復されていたのです。
こんなミミックキーの使い方があったのか！と思った方も多かったのではないでしょうか。

ただ、ジープがシータに会う事は叶うはずがなく、鏡の中に映るのは会いたくても会えぬ人。
嫁ぎ先が権力者で、復讐を果たすために偽りの自分でいるなんて…ストマック家の愛憎劇は加速していきます。

新章に突入して新しく出たのはキャラクターだけではありません。
通称「大統領官邸」という新アセット（3DCG空間）が今回から登場しました。

ガヴの世界に新たな勢力が加わった事をどうやって印象づけるか？
という命題のもと、ストマック社のアセットをつくったブラックフレイムさんに今回もお願いして、急ピッチで新アセットを作成しました。

衣装も同様ですがストマックのカラーとは対照的な高貴な白を基調としたデザイン！
大統領官邸と言っても天空に君臨する城のような建物で、所々に田嶋秀樹さんがデザインしてくれたジャルダック家の紋章が取り入れられています。

細部まで見てみると至る所に工夫が凝らされています。
慣れないアセットの撮影は大変でしたが、吹き抜けになっている上空を映したカットなど、監督の狙いのカットもキマってましたね！

そんな大統領官邸で登場した新たなグラニュート・マーゲン。
大統領も手を焼くような大層な権力者のようで…って闇菓子くわされてるーーーー！？！？
マーゲンの声の出演は高木渉さん！

今回も名言連発で楽しいバトルにしてくださった肥後さん。
前回はバスケの見物客でしたが、実は銭湯の番台であることが発覚しました。
キャスティングの際にも銭湯のおじさんがピッタリだという理由でお声掛けさせていただきました。（熱湯風呂じゃないよ！！）

ダブルアイスな変身からのダブルライダーキック！
フラッペが登場して、ガヴとヴァレンのアイス並びは是非ともやりたかった！
ということで、今回はリッチでひんやりしたアクションでグラニュートを倒すことに成功。
最近はシリアスな戦いが多かったかもしれませんが、楽しいアクションも良いですよね！

I guess the green screen space is both a blessing and a curse. Sometimes it's kinda cool and sometimes it feels like being in a video game space

The costumes and designs feel impressive to me at least. Very fancy and fitting for those characters

I speak fluent German and even I didn't notice that. In fairness, it's not a word I think I've ever actually used in the last 15 years, ever since I stopped having to recite sentences in school about which parts of my body hurt, and what sports I like to do on the weekend.

The green screen works fine in small doses like this for places they couldn't possibly build as sets. It's less good when they rely on it too much, like King-Ohger.

Shoji being 25 is even better when you remember Kiramager was 5 years ago. Everyone was really young there.

...God I miss Kiramager. Shoji is one of the small batch of toku actors known to speak pretty good English too, by the way.

That's about what I expected to happen with Shita's mimic key, yet the moment still ended up giving me chills.

Love that our main 4 are finally all working together, as well as the (albeit brief) interactions between Hanto and Rakia. The bond between the secondary and tertiary riders tends to be one of my favorites (Goto and Date, Go and Chase, Makoto and Alain, etc.), so I've got my fingers crossed that next episode will deliver another banger on that front.

Also, is it too much to ask that we get a triple Henshin already? Little in this franchise is cooler than multiple riders suiting up all at once, make it happen already, Toei.

Jeebh's transformation into Shita was bittersweet and chillingly creepy. Mad props to both actors.

I had an earlier prediction where Shita's personality would take over Jeebh but I didn't expect an actual transformation into Shita. Still my earlier prediction might be still on track though.

So we've basically had a corporate takeover by Liselle and her dad lol Lango aint gonna take this for long, that president has doomed himself.
a toku search that took more than 5 minutes is impressive lol I liked hanto using his tec skills to find the Granuto

Next week should be fun, the usual lets stick two guys who dont get along together literally and have them work things out.

Fairly Standard fantastic Gavv episode. Insane the quality this show has had so far. There's so much I love in this episode, but the thing that I cannot stop thinking about and have complicated feelings on is one scene in particular.

So Jeebh is at home... and dresses up as his dead sister. His wife comes home, sees him, then comforts him and says he can stay like that if he wants cause she still finds him cute that way. Now given other things in this episode I cannot tell if that scene is supposed to be "Transwoman Jeebh and her supportive pansexual wife" OR "Jeebh is fundamentally broken and the princess likes playing with broken toys, but will throw them away when she's bored".

Like completely out of context of everything else, that scene and set-up feels like the former? like the amount of stories i've heard irl/read online/seen in media that are basically like... variations on that exact sort of encounter... it feels like that's what it's supposed to be an allusion for? like "hey kids/adults it's okay if you have these feelings, you can explore/work through them with supportive people in your life"

but... they are also the villains in this show. 9 times/10 they are destined to blow up with a rider kick. We have the scene with the president where he says she'll get bored of these new toys soon enough, we have her fighting for the honour of her husband for about 20 seconds then getting bored and wandering off, we have the whole... pet/item possession way she treats Jeebh outside of this scene, so all of the rest of this feels like it might be the latter?

Idk, maybe i'm reading too much into this but given this show has had serious topics of Grief, Guilt, familicide, cloning, body modification, staying safe when meeting strangers from dating apps & drug addiction it doesn't feel like gender/sexuality stuff would be too far out of the realm of possibility?

It's smart ambiguity because we just don't know that much about Liselle's personality yet. We know what her father says about her. And we see her blow away her husband's enemy then go back to her walk because that's what interested her in the moment. There's a very real chance that Jeebh is just her new toy and her love for him will last as long as he amuses her. But it might also not be since we don't know who she is as a person. Add the additional layer that Jeebh might be just using her right back, and we get this tangled marriage of convenience and political allies
