I think it's from one of the Go-Onger photobooks. I know I stole it off someone and just archived it since it makes me lol every time I see it. XD

Re: Gokai 37 released
Ok, good.
I was actually a bit afraid that this was from an episode, and you just spoiled it for me. I'm only just now watching Go-Onger through for the first time, I lost interest around episode 10 when the series was actually airing.
It's a good show, I just think I lost interest the first time simply because it had some big shoes to fill. Gekiranger was my modern sentai, and I'd grown pretty attached to it.
Sorta like Shinkenger and Goseiger. Goseiger was a good show in it's own right, it just had the misfortune of having to follow Shinkenger's epic act.

Definitely give it another chance, it's not Gekiranger, but it grows on you, and in retrospect, I'd definitely say I look back fondly on it, more so than I do with Goseiger.

Re: Gokai 37 released
I have to agree with lunagel. it's a decent series. funny thing is, i never had any issue going from gekiranger to go-onger or from shinkenger to goseiger. maybe it takes a lot more to disappoint me? that or i'm able to unwind in just a week between episodes and start a new season with a clean slate. either way, i never once had a problem with go-onger, cause i was just laughing my butt off the whole time.

Re: Gokai 37 released
Agreed. To tell the truth, the ideas they go through with the changes of series is quite interesting to me since I tried watching Magiranger first. I think the problem was that I was trying to compare it to Mystic Force. But now that I know better to watch the series for what it is, I enjoyed it a lot. Especially when Hikaru and Smoky showed up. Just start from scratch and enjoy. It's like starting a new file on a game you already beaten, you know what's going to happen to an extent but you tend to forget some parts. LOL *or in some games cases, you end up doing things slightly different and get a different result.*Conan_Edogawa wrote:I have to agree with lunagel. it's a decent series. funny thing is, i never had any issue going from gekiranger to go-onger or from shinkenger to goseiger. maybe it takes a lot more to disappoint me? that or i'm able to unwind in just a week between episodes and start a new season with a clean slate. either way, i never once had a problem with go-onger, cause i was just laughing my butt off the whole time.

Re: Gokai 37 released
While it maybe that, I felt the GokaiGalleon should be destroyed completely, not just detransformed from Gokai-Oh. That would really made things more interesting.Kalsembar wrote: What a cliffhanger! Almost 40 episodes into the series and the Gokaigers suffer their first major defeat!

Re: Gokai 37 released
Just a question - what's the name of the BGM playing during Joe and Barizorg's swordfight? I know it's been used multiple times, like the Jetman fight and Fuuraimaru's debut.

Nice to see some development with Warz Gill wanting to prove himself in-front of his father and the rest of the members of the court. I liked Luka's impersonation of Zubaan that made me smile.
