In other news, it's not surprising to me that Nago goes nutso. He kinda was already heading that way anyway. This is actually the first Rider I don't like in some way. The only redeeming factor is the cool design. Cept I don't like the bug eyes on this one either for some reason. I like it in Safe mode better.

i agree with the comment about IXA safe mode, that mode definitely looks better than the battle mode, the eyes just do not work with that kind of look.

This ep does bring up the question of where did Kiva's system or powers come from? They seem to be mystical, so that'd eliminate it being 'made' by the Aozora group...right?

Correct! Recruiting agent Miyake Tooru's actor Jinbou Satoshi played as Alternative Zero in Ryuki.

Indeed. I always figured a mystical origin to Kivat's powers and if anything, I'd say that Otoya allowed for Wataru to become Kiva based on his own experience as a monster-fighting warrior (IXA).
