It's probably not a limited edition (although I hope az picks up the first run in case it comes with a box with sweet art on the cover).

Probably wont be able to pick them up till atleast June next year, depends how my finances play out over the next 10 months

Both are priced the same as box 1 which has been dropped to 15500 yen, £99, $160

Looks like I wont be able to pick these up in 2014, a few other things have to take priority at this point in time for me as far as cash flow goes

Did anyone get the Blurays? Not because I want TV Nihon to redo the subs, but because I want to know what the video quality is like. I heard it was up converted from SD. If so, is it obvious? Would getting the sets only be worth it for the reunion special? Thank you for any news.

Bah. Well, we were able to hope at least. Maybe I'll get it if there's no hope for a proper remaster (I don't have any of the DVDs, so it wouldn't be a double dip) but I wish companies wouldn't put shows on Blu Ray unless it was legitimately 1080p, like CBS and ST TNG.

I got the box 1 as my Japanese colleagues buy it first and lend it to me.... I never ripped or copy a bluray before... But when I tried to play it on my PS3 it says error disc cannot be played... He says I can play using other bluray player... The disc may not support the PS3 sometimes.... Was it bootlegs or you guys had facing same problems as me sometimes.?

Blu-Rays can be region coded at times, not often, but can be, so if the code is different to your PS3 code, then you wont be able to play

We only buy official stuff from places such as amazon japan, we avoid bootlegs

Ripping blu-rays tends to require special software to beat the encryption, but some can be gotten on trial.

I've never had a problem playing a Japanese blu-ray on my PS3. The regional encoding is almost never enforced. Of course, I live in America and I think we share the same region as Japan.

I think you do share the same code, I dont think any of the Blu-Rays I have from Japan have a region code, at least the ones Ive played in my PS3 have worked fine

The only time Ive come across a code enforced disk is The Phantom, which kinda sucks, but I have my ways around that

I seeking youtube to solve this. I tried hold standby button until it beeps three times and switched on and tried play the disc but it seems load the disc for too long. Up until half an hour the error still displayed... So I tried update my system it says already updated since last week. What happened if the disc share same region code? Was it blocked by DRM or cinevia?

If you share the same region code you should be fine. But most stuff isn't region encoded in the first place.

Assuming your PS3 isn't broken, then your discs are no good.

If your Blu-Rays were super cheap, I'd be wary that you actually bought bootlegs

I had the same problem with my Shinkenger series blu-ray. For some reason I can only guess, it worked fine on another. If you got a official copy, it should work on at least one blu player. Sorry I wasn't more help.

If you're sure it's the official blu and eventually able to watch it, can you tell us the video quality please? Thank you if yes.

If you said so then I should try it on PS4. For next two month.. My budget was really tight & choking me..
