LOL, they're ninjas. It's because it's a Japanese show.

don't mock them please, they may be small, but the can still kick your ass, an least they talk which is something most mini-cons can't do.

well, they're smaller than cybertrons and most cars, they may be bigger than mini-cons, i don't know i havn't seen the episode in a long time and it was a very small size raw i found, the whoe episode is 5mb so what does that tell you, they can still kick your ass though, you can't deny that noko. i'm just trying to be funny so don't take it the wrong way, this world is full of people who take things WAY too literally these days.

Well, they look like regular size cars to me. Sorry to hear you watch bad raws instead of high quality fansubs, maybe it'd be more obvious if you weren't watching a rm file or whatever

actually the files are about 5 years old at least and the image was very bad and i couldn't understand a word of it. i understand quite a few words now but the spellind and pronounciation change with different sentance structures, i'm amazed anyone can learn the language without getting a brain hemorage, that's people who don't speek it as a primary language their whole life. i would like to learn it but i don't have the time or resources so all i can do is try to learn bits and peices from the subs. i knew someone who said he learned japaneze from watching transformers and could speak it well but i think he might have just been making it up. i only watched like 5 episodes before giving up so i'm really happy tvnihon is subbing it now.

The concept of Spychangers being small is a bit of a confusing one in terms of animation.

While most depictions of them in car mode next to the Autobot Brothers are equal in size but in robot mode are shorter then every other Autobot (atleast compared to episodes with them next to Fire Convoy (Regular robot mode), JRX team members and the Car Brothers, but then other times characters like Artfire and Eaglekiller are face to face with Fire Convoy and Speedbreaker..... Due to this flip back and forth of size it's hard to say for sure, but I think the original intent was for them to be a little smaller (at the very least in robot mode). I can't use the toys as an example of scale due to their original origins as G2 repaints.

**EDIT** Oh and I forgot to mention THANK YOU GUYS FOR ANOTHER EPISODE! You all rule!

I couldn't tell that the Spychangers are smaller than the Car Brothers. I found it funny when Gelshark couldn't henshin because of the energy unit.

Gelshark is one of my favorite TF characters. Spychangers are rad as hell as well. Car Robots of debatable size for the win

As always, great job Takenoko & Team TV-Nihon :)

As I've already seen Karryudo's version of the first 4 eps, I'm really looking forward to seeing eps 5 onwards of this series :D

Thanks again to everyone involved in this project!!

Regards,

The heck on discussing size/scale with the Spychangers? We know how consistent scale is in any TF universe!

Ahem. I think while in vehicle mode, they're on par with the 3 brothers whereas in 'bot mode, more or less the same height, mass aside. Problem is, unless someone can find the animation model sheets with height comparisons, we'll never know how tall the Spychangers could be. Partially the other problem is perspective that gives the illusion that some are shorter than others.

Quite true, quite true.

Funny episode, though I fail to see why the three Cybertron bros couldn't just climb over or walk around the other vehicles. Cheap way of introducing the Spy Changers, but hey. They're cool, so it's okay.

/me looks

Probably something better not thought too deeply about XD

Edit: Does someone have any Car Robot pics or know of image sites with Car Robots pics that I can blatantly steal use with permission from the author for the front page for episode releases?

Takenoko, try http://www.animecubed.com/galleries/carrobots/p1.shtml . It's a little mixed together but there are a number of Car Robots pics that are generally the same size as the others featured on the frontpage. By the way the Keisuke Nago "Please return the Olympics to God" image has been cracking me up for days, great work! Also I bought allllmost every single RiD/CR toy when it came out, I could take shots of those
