We have a release date. April 8th. Whew, that's coming up fast.

That's it? Not doing much to build the hyper up.

Not that they care. The damn Pachinko machines will make money regardless.

It is weird because there are a pair of recent shots behind the scenes (nothing can be seen anyways), and there are also some of the Zero series, so... Have they just started filming? Because Zero premieres in Octobes and Makai Retsuden in less than a month.

I'm starting to suspect that there's no trailer because there's not even footage to make it.

If it's like Ultraman Retsudan, then it might not even be a new show but mostly a look back on Garo.

That's not what Amemiya insinuated on the 10th anniversary event, where he said that Garo has a lot of characters and he would like to focus on them instead of focusing on the golden knight, and algo doesn't match with the fact that we have a couple of behind the scenes shots.

So looking at the official website, it says that it's going to be an "omnibus" and checking over with a native Japanese, he says that probably means that it'll be a bunch of unconnected episodes with little or no overarching story.

In other words, mini stories about the Garo universe, which I'm pretty okay with.

Well, basically Makai no Hana without the ending.

Except that focused on several characters.

I assume these will be stories about characters in the Garo universe but separate from each other. Should be good.

I wonder if they will apply that to both the Saejima and Dougai continuities or just focus in one of them.

It would be nice if they did, but I have the feeling that it will mostly be new characters.

A bit off-topic, but isn't there a release date for the Biku: Yamigirinochi DVD/Bluray? I think it's time we at least had the date.

Dude, they're only just now putting Gold Storm out on DVD. Garo is notoriously slow about physical media, usually takes a year or longer.

Huh? Gold Storm stuff was all out last fall.

I suck at reading Amazon release dates. Even so, the movies tend to take forever to come out. I think Soukoku no Maryuu was like a full year and a little over.

Yeah, that one was long. Came out in February with a disc release date in September.
