YGO 27 released

Post by takenoko »

I like the diorama at the end. Too bad there wasn't more to this series

Edit: Did people notice I've been fiddling with the op/ed even in the last episode?

I am very sad that it's the end. (well, there's the movie, but still) I wish there was more, since this was my favorite series/season/whatever.

By fiddle I mean to make light adjustments to it, to play with it. I fixed a typo in the opening karaoke (kawaita only has one t) and reworded the translation.

What does the term mean in your country and what country is that?

I think he meant the splasher picture in ep 25 and 26 was from book 32 of the Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh! manga (Yu-Gi-Oh! Millennium World volume 1 to us Scottish folk).

Yeah, that was pretty hilarious. I thought stabbing himself in the hand was kind of shocking, in a cool way. It was like "whoa, did he just do that?"

I know you don't really like manga references in the anime section, but this is also about the anime.

The stabbing his hand bit was toned down by Toei (especially as Bakura went through blood vessels). When he stabbed his hand in the book, blood was splutting out it for a few moments.

Also, Toei edited a bit where Jounouchi took out Zork's left eye with his sword (thus partially blinding Bakura). I think they edited it in case it grossed some viewers out.

Man, all these episodes remind me of are all the times I've been killed in D&D games...

At least 5 I can think of off the top of my head, though it's more like 4 actual deaths and 2 half deaths but still, those 4 deaths and one of those half deaths were all in one campaign ^^;
READING TOO MUCH INTO THINGS![/size] including random over analysis rants on pop culture, and Tokusatsu series reviews, if Toei gets off my back for long enough. Also follow on twitter @R2TMIT, or facebook.com/R2TMIT
