Super Sentai Saikyou Battle 01 released

You know, for a tournament that's meant to put makeshift sentai vs makeshift sentai... having random 1v1, 2v2, 3v3s are sort of... not sentai ish?

I like some of the small references like the areas where they all fight being generic arenas.

I'm getting even more Kyouryuger flashbacks now with the Ryusoulger. Instead of batteries into guns, they are putting 'souls' into swords... same concept of a dinosaur biting though.

Did you guys notice there's only four arenas? That's why even though rounds are split into A block and B block, the A block is split into two parts since there's 8 matches.

We can actually see the four arenas from outside when Planet Nemesis is first shown.

Huh, so all the GoRangers are left out? Same with Denjimans? I guess the older Sentai makes sense, but you'd think the originals would be in it. Maybe they're being saved for something.

or maybe they were defeated by Gaisorg, like Marvelous mentioned?

i guess they had to show only 32 teams for the tournament, since thats the standard number for a tournament battle... 32>16>8>4>2

and im really dissapointed that ryuusoulger is gonna be another dinosaur themed... when i saw the name kishiryuu i thought it'd be of dragon theme, and their zord would be different type of dragons like in "how to train your dragons"

That one was the original version. I just released the v2 which is the same as the v3 of the HD/SD versions.
