Re: Ryusoulger 34 released
That makes it the second lowest scoring episode of Super Sentai in TVN voting history. Ryusoulger also holds the #1 spot with episode 23 (the clip show).
You'd think from some of these low votes that it's a terrible series, but it's not. It has some good moments. It just also bombs really hard at times.

Re: Ryusoulger 34 released
I mean, I definitely don't hate Ryusoulger. It's just a very mediocre series. It sometimes does a thing that's cool or impressive or amusing. But generally is just okay. When bad things do happen, it's pretty easy to latch onto it and point it out. But I don't think that makes it a bad series overall.

Bland and poorly executed is probably a better assessment.

Earlier, when Koh and Melto found out about the Elder guy being a kebab vendor or something, they didn't tell Asuna

Yeah, I believe Asuna asked about or overheard him, but all the two would say was "You remember him looking really wise? Just keep thinking of him that way."

Re: Ryusoulger 34 released
Wow, I had to go back to episode 6 to get that reference. We were still calling him the Abbott back then. Man... nice attention to detail and good job spotting it, guys.
Re: Ryusoulger 34 released
Oh for sure. It's definitely not a good series overall. I'm just pointing out that it's also not consistently bad, which has been a problem with other series. On the Wild-Hotness Sentai Scale (TM), it's more mild; unlike Takaharu and Lucky, I'd actually miss Koh.
I suppose the show overall has developed a bit of a bipolar vibe. Most of the time it's on its meds and is stable and mellow, if a bit numb overall. Then it goes off its meds and either does something amazing or something awful. Which would be more understandable if the show was taking risks, but it's a pretty conservative show overall, so the mood swings are out of place.
To be fair, he hasn't been in the show in 30 episodes, and his only other appearance was in episode 1. Frankly I had given up on him a dozen episodes ago and assumed the show had dropped him. He should be lucky that he's even in the subs.
