I'm not sure if it's because of licensing issues or not, but I'm a little surprised that the Japanese version of this anime hasn't been subbed by these talented folk in this community, especially since this series got a Blu-Ray re-release not too long ago.
I dunno, I guess it's just that Frontier almost feels tailor made for tokusatsu.

It's almost definitely because it's been licensed for English distribution, and is readily available stateside (on Hulu).
That said, I do personally own fansubs of the TV release, so it's only a matter of time before some intrepid subber or scrubber ports them to the Bluray releases.
