Re: Got my vaccine today
Yay Pfizer buddies!
Got my first Pfizer shot yesterday and I had a slight headache that went away quickly, but arm gradually became really sore.
Today is the second day and my arm is still a little sore but much more comfortable now.

I am not so sure. It's better to check with papers or journals from Google Scholars for more reliable facts than just mere blogs from google search. My parents and my first younger sister who got them first were from Pfizers due to working with medical field. Today, it was me and my second younger sister who received the first injection. According to my parents anyway, there aren't really that much difference besides the purpose to improve better immunity against Covid 19 and disappointingly, the attendance for those who were supposed to take vaccine today is literally 50%. Some who comes to take it change their mind on the last minute and go back just like that.

Eh? Why do they change their minds? You'd think they'd be eager to get it done

Re: Got my vaccine today
I know right? I mean, they literally signed up and tick accept on the registration form. My father brought those registration forms back home from his hospital to me and my second sister to fill up the necessary information on the day before yesterday so that we can just wait in line instead of wasting time filling the form at the hospitals with like 10 people in line. If they were being picky of the company that produced the vaccine, then there is literally no reason for them to turn up and go back empty handed. I guess its fear of contracting the disease from taking the vaccine? My only fear when to being in a hospital is literally anything with needles penetrating my skin but I did try not to scream from getting the injection and taking blood sample for uric acid test yesterday. I am no fan of medicine either but since I have to take daily medications for reducing uric acid level, I always look up, place my medicine on a back end of my tongue and just pour some water from a bottle so that it just flushed down my throat without having to taste its bitterness, although sometimes that failed.
Honestly, I feel like those people should make up their mind. There's still millions of people in Malaysia that has not been vaccinated, looking at the MySejahtera app daily to see if they received appointment after registered to receive vaccine, only to learn it still ask you if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, even for men. As of now, only 5 out of 6 in my family of six that received vaccine, with my youngest sister still being 12 and had to take Pfizer if she wants to get vaccinated.

I'm vaccinated too. (Pfizer)
The next day after the 1st jab, had sore arms and a slight headache.
The next day after the 2nd jab, a bad heachache and sore arms(which lasted for approx 2 days).
I had a friend who had a temperature after the 1st jab and is currently waiting for the 2nd.

Congrats! I'm still wearing my mask though. A lot of guys seem to take offense at it. I like wearing it, nothing wrong with being cautious

Re: Got my vaccine today
Got my vaccination appointment for the 24th, don't get to choose the vaccine, will be either Pfeizer or Moderna, luck of the draw.
Still gonna mask until vaccination rates hit at least 90%

Re: Got my vaccine today
My second dose will be on 22nd July. Hopefully there won't be any sudden change of date or anything.
Re: Got my vaccine today
I must admit I'm a bit envious that you live in a place where 90% is even possible. There's absolutely zero chance we're going to hit 90% in the US.

Home field advantage?
I think everyone was pretty surprised, no one really expected a medal from skateboarding especially from a 13 year old girl (incidentally, best "what did you do on your summer vacation" flex ever)

Yes, he was. Not as a competitor, but as a commentator for NBC.
Yeah, that was the other surprising part. I was watching that live (it was on NBC's prime evening program); suffice it to say, I wasn't doing anything remotely as impressive at that age.

But did people recognize TOny Hawk?
Oh that's cool. Glad some people are getting some enjoyment out of the Olympics and it's not just protests and covid news
