Got my vaccine today
It was the first part of the Pfizer shot. Was pretty quick. Pretty sure I was in an out in like an hour or so. Just a lot of waiting in lines, but it was constantly moving. Felt pretty efficient. Will add to this if I feel symptoms later, but hopefully not
My coworker got the J&J on Wednesday and she was knocked out for like a day

Re: Got my vaccine today
Good to hear you got it too!
I got my first Pfizer vaccine on Tuesday afternoon, myself. One of my relatives drove me to the location earlier than was scheduled, and so we got pretty in and out. The only time I really had to wait was during that 15min. observation period. I think the only symptoms I had were that night when I felt jolts of pain down my muscles, mainly on the side I got the shot on. Other than that, nothing really on the same level.

It's near the end of April. I felt alright. Just kind of tired and now a little bit achey, but nothing outrageous

Re: Got my vaccine today
Awesome; congratulations! My family and I are all vaccinated now, so we're having the first movie night with an also-vaccinated friend in over a year tonight. (Vaccine symptoms varied, though mine were some basic aches--and I even get those from flu vaccines.)

Re: Got my vaccine today
My parents, my grandma and four aunts are vaccinated more than a week ago. So it's only a matter of days/weeks before I get vaccinated next with either AstraZeneca or Sinovac.
But still I have to be more and more cautious with face mask+shield 'cuz the PH have reported 6K-12K cases almost everyday, which is sad. (More than 100 active cases in my hometown.)
Anyways, congrats takenoko!

Re: Got my vaccine today
I got my first dose of Astrazeneca 3 weeks ago now. On the day I was fine, morning after I could hardly lift my arm, the following night I had a mild fever, not pleasent at all. Definatly took it out of me as my 5 mile virtual race I took part in was slower than the month before on the same route, only by 2 minutes, but it felt soo much harder to complete and afterwards my body felt depleted.
I think I have had the better end of the stick to some that have had that vaccine, I have known some to be bed ridden for a couple of days, but also some that have had no effects at all. Just seems to be luck of the draw really

Apparently if you get a vaccine it affects your mammogram? What's up with J&J, my online friend said there's some stuff with it

Got my second one a few days ago. Had a headache and nausea the day after with chills developing shortly before I went to sleep. Felt normal when I woke up the next day.

Re: Got my vaccine today
Going to be getting my second shot on Monday. My shot's the Moderna vaccine so I'll eventually have to get the third booster shot.
COVID cases are going down in the US so we're looking to be on a good track so far. Not being optimistic however; in my last job, I've seen one case of COVID-related fraud. There was news yesterday of someone making fraudulent vaccination cards as well, so that's not so great.

Re: Got my vaccine today
Covid related fraud? What?
From what I understand of the situation, we're all probably going to need boosters. Covid's hit such a saturation point in humans that it's not going away, it's just going to come in waves like the flu. At least according to this podcast: https://gimletmedia.com/shows/science-v ... e-variants
