Something random about Ahim episodes is that they're uploaded as 29.97 fps and have to be reduced to 23.976 fps to take out the redundant frame

It looks like they gave Koike an especially hard one with Saber

Ahh, i was wondering what was going on there. There was an issue with the preview for episode 2 where someone did a bad job of that. It looks like Toei just straight-up mastered it incorrectly, rendering a 24fps file at 30fps at some point. So the problem goes beyond the YT uploads.

Yeah, the shape and everything is hard to make. I wonder if she got some help with cutting out the baking paper and stuff from the staff of this production.... But I like that they brought some change to the menu and made Sandwich this time. The Bentou's are cute and all, but I was kinda getting tired of seeing rice bentou every time.

Yeah. If you check the episode 2 preview at the end of episode 1, you can see the dropped/duplicated frames on the preview. Your encode was fine; Toei botched the 30->24 conversion on their end when mastering the video, so the wrong frames were discarded.

Not only him, but Sentai actors have appeared too. Spada and Starninger's actors have also appeared in other episodes. I guess Toei thought about mixing up things a little bit. Since seeing the same three actresses over and over again will be boring, so why not include some actors in the mix. I don't mind actually, the idea is interesting. And looks like this cooking show will continue for a while, so I won't be surprised if they got more actors or even other actresses to appear here. I especially want some older actresses who haven't appeared in the shows in a while to appear. It would be nice to see actresses from Magiranger, Boukenger, Shinkenger appear here. A nice little revisit similar to Yuki's.

Now that you put it like that, it does seem like a good change. I guess I would like more veterans to appear in this show.

I'm just surprised at how long this series is going. At 9 episodes, it's far and beyond the longest YouTube extra Toei has done for KR/SS. Maybe because it's cheap to produce?

Yeah, it's surprising and cool. 9 episodes and counting. I guess it's easy to produce, and maybe even a way to get the mothers of the kids involved. Like if the mothers watch this, they'll make it for their kids and family. Plus, they also tell them to visit the Super Sentai Friends website to print out reference pictures for the Bentou's, which also increases traffic for the website. All of this is actually a good plan to get the people even more involved in the franchises' activities. Imo, it's quite brilliant!
