I don't know why you think it's an ode to Ultraman especially when Ultraman is property of another company. Hakaizer is more of a homage to Hakaider from Kikaider I would guess.

Yeah my first thought was Hakaider too, that's a Toei property

I am CRINGE at next week's ep... especially with all the shitty CGI from Revice... oh GODS.

kinda neat that Hakaizer is the prototype ... despite being sentai inspired? and he has more output that Stacaesar which was an interesting comment to make.
i guess Super Zenkaioh Jyuran isnt something they want to promote? and on that note, have we seen Zenkaioh GaonVroom? and could we see Super Zenkaioh Vroom?

i liked that Secchan picked up on "hey thats our tech!" sure its cheap but given theyre clear that the tojitendo are brain hacking kaito's parents, its acceptable.
at least its not a super duper finisher .. gokaigalleon buster did it better. but ooo! now Kaito can summon past sentai to aid the team? that sounds cool and a nice change of pace, i mean sure he didnt steal Staceasars ability, or gain it via defeating him, but, i will say stealing it away as soon as it debuted feels rushed, but hey i get it. still curious what Hakaizer means for Stacy's usefulness to the tojitendo.
when the hologram on Kaito's dad first appeared the smoke in the background made it seem like his brain was smoking.

Did Kaito's father appear in this episode (physically)? I don't remember seeing him, yet he's mentioned in the wiki page
