Did Blue just step away from a fight to give Green a pep talk?
Feels like they put more bitrate into this episode. It looks better than the last one
LOL, did Green just tumble down a hill? Was hoping Green would get more time this season since his episode was kind of short in season 1
Ha, wish we had seen more of Pink and Yellow's dance fight
Oh the putties mugging for the camera before getting kicked into a puddle before Rajura and the motw appears. Nice
Also cool monster design that I didn't notice before, GideTapadre has multiple heads, so he can see all around him. Maybe that's why he's so hard to catch unaware?
Hi Purapiinu. Bye Purapiinu
I kind of like this angle that they're fighting from on the dirt hill
Overall another solid episode of Wakusaver. Some of the fights were on the brief side, but clearly some thought's been put into them. We even got a little Rajura action. Honestly can't see Wakusaver doing better than this, so this can have a 5/5 for me, with the understanding it's on the GIGA curve

Re: Wakusaver Season 2 Ep 03 released
I guess it is a tokusatsu troupe that evil enemy brainwashing can be cured by a pep talk and pointing out the obvious?
Yea for mook shenanigans!
Asssss. They should have a fight scene when a mook accidentally touches Rajura's butt and Rajura smacks the unfortunate mook so hard that he is thrown around the world and then Rajura gives the mook a sassy comment.
In episode 4 will Red show up and thank Pink for saving him in the 3.5 episode even though he could thank Purapiinu and have it still make sense?

The porn part of this season is a girl on girl. Sloppily made like the first one and barely triggers any libido.

Seems likebthe entire brainwashing thing is non-canon
Re: Wakusaver Season 2 Ep 03 released
This episode was about what I expected from Wakusaver. Not bad, not great, and leaving some potential on the table.
In terms of plot, I like the idea of having the heroes brainwashed into doubting themselves. Under more normal circumstances it's good story-telling fodder. However it's not used very well here. One short pep-talk, and Green and Yellow are back in action. As resop2 noted, this is playing to a regular Toku trope. However the execution of it is lacking; there's a certain moment of awesomeness that comes with the newfound resolve that doesn't happen here. Yellow and Green get over their complexes just a bit too quickly/easily.
Also, how on earth do Pink and Blue find the time to just idly chat while there's a fight going on? Maybe if we saw the other Wakusaver occupying the entire mook army while this was going on...
The fight scenes were pretty well done, though. In fact we got two things I never thought we'd see in the entire series: an outdoor night fight, and Rajura fighting. Night fights are always a fun treat, but they take a lot of work to setup (location, lighting, more lighting), and it requires having the cast and crew working after hours. So understandably even Toei doesn't do it a lot. Which makes it all the more surprising to see it here.
Meanwhile the Rajura outfit, in its quest to cover next to nothing while still being an outfit, looks as flimsy as all could be. Granted, it's not much of a fight (mostly just blocking attacks with her arm), but that's already more than I was expecting given the circumstances. It does make me wonder if this was the last scene filmed for this season, since that would make it less problematic if something broke.
The audio doesn't quite live up to the visuals, though. They clearly overdubbed Rajura; it's not very good. They didn't even try to make it sound like she was in an outdoor environment.
Otherwise, I feel that GIGA has the fan service/promotional aspects of the show better figured out this season. Your biggest asset is a JAV actress walking around wearing practically nothing. Use it.
As an aside, I'm starting to wonder of one of the mooks is actually a mookette. Two of them in the night fight are clearly stocky dudes, but the one in the middle is a lot smaller. The outfit doesn't even fit very well; it's baggy and doesn't contour to their body except at the chest...

You write these posts like 2 days after the previous episode is released to the public. Give us time to watch the dang show!
That's mostly an automated thing from YouTube, I believe. The night shots probably cajoled their encoding algorithms to throw a few more bits at it.Feels like they put more bitrate into this episode. It looks better than the last one
At the risk of sounding easily amused, jumping off of a platform like that on to the side of a mount of dirt is fairly impressive. That could have very easily ended with Green rolling an ankle instead.LOL, did Green just tumble down a hill? Was hoping Green would get more time this season since his episode was kind of short in season 1
For a show that can't do characters especially well, Wakusaver has proven to do mooks pretty well. I'm enjoying their brief antics.Oh the putties mugging for the camera before getting kicked into a puddle before Rajura and the motw appears. Nice
I think they could do better. I don't think they will, but there's certainly more room for improvement (if only to get up to Dinovator levels).Honestly can't see Wakusaver doing better than this, so this can have a 5/5 for me, with the understanding it's on the GIGA curve

I guess they do probably have more female actors than male. It might be fun for them to wear more clothing than usual. I could try to translate the stunt double cast, but one of them is just named "plum" and another "soldam"?
LOL, fair enough. Although the updated vote still has the same result so no need to update
Hmmm, I wonder how compressed these videos are compared to whatever was originally uploaded

That's true, Dinnovator definitely had some attempts at writing that aren't seen here. Guess I mean this is just good for a Wakusaver episode
