About your last few releases

I don’t know if this is the right place to ask this but did you change anything about your files in your most recent releases? I don’t really see anything different about them, but for some reason episodes don’t work on my TV. I’ve checked all 3 versions (HD1080, HD720 & SD), neither of them works but it’s only those episodes, nothing else. Everything up until 26 works perfectly fine and I also re-downloaded some older files to make sure there’s nothing wrong with my downloader. The files don't seem to be broken either because they do work on other devices but it still frustrates me that they don’t work on my TV because I don’t get why. Everything works except for those 5 files.

Hmmm, we did update Megui which is the program we used for encoding videos. I thought I had used the same settings as before. I only see one setting difference (thought I had them all set up the same way as before)

Does this file work on your TV?

No, it doesn’t. Maybe it’s because of that update? My TV isn’t very new so maybe it can’t take the quality of the new encodings? But I have no idea how this stuff works so I don’t really know what I’m talking about. It just says the file isn't compatible.

This should be encoded from the archive of megui that I have? Hopefully this works?

Can I ask how you're playing the videos? I just tested the videos from a usb stick and also from a media server and all the files still work for me

YES, this one worked. Is it possible to release new episodes in a version like this or would that be too much work?

I usually put all my Toku files on an external hard drive and plug it in my TV but when I tried to figure out why the episodes didn’t work I also tried to use a usb stick to make sure my hard drive isn’t broken. Made no difference.

Uh, let me see about how easy it'd be to revert the program to the lower patch

In the meantime, if your TV is on the same network as your computer, you can run a media server to just stream the file into your TV. I have TVersity but the PS3 media server also works. Just to give you some more options

Eh I’m not sure if that works with my TV. I’m not even sure if my TV is Wi-fi capable. lol
I could try to connect my PC to my media receiver I guess. That would probably take me a while though because I’m not really into that stuff at all.

I've got my stuff all cabled up, but I get that's not an option for everyone. Anyway, just wanted to put that out there in case other people want to try that setup

Sweet, glad it all worked out
