Actually, in all seriousness, I was a beat or two late in realizing it was dubbed. For a couple of seconds there I was wondering where the subtitle text was, and if this was going to need to be V3'd.

And then you didn't get just anyone to dub it, but friggin Little Kuriboh?!

I'm in awe here, and that's just the gag dub of the recap!

What song is the OP, BTW? I don't recognize it; I guess I've never seen the series it came from.

On the other hand, I do recognize the DenLiner sound effect when I hear it. Nice touch!

Going with a parody on card games was definitely a good idea here. To state the obvious, Gotchard lends itself to it very well with the card motif, never mind the whole pokemon thing. And Geryon would be a total bastard of a card game player, too!

Switching out Renge's speaking style for ye olde English was great. Whoever decided to have Spanner mouth off in near-constant tool puns should be shot for crimes against humanity, human decency, and Hilti!

And Klotho as an overly-aggressive union organizer also worked really well. That is surprisingly close to the real world in some respects, especially the part where they send a pretty face to pitch it! (And I personally appreciate the "is into it" label for her as well )

Finally, I can't believe I'm even asking this, but now this video has piqued my curiosity: "You wouldn't believe the prices for hentai Dark Magician Girl" Just how much is one of those cards?

If this is Luna's handiwork, I may have underestimated just how devious she truly is. Because as far as April Fools videos go, this is on a whole other level.

Finally, I can't believe I'm even asking this, but now this video has piqued my curiosity: "You wouldn't believe the prices for hentai Dark Magician Girl" Just how much is one of those cards?

Back when I was a wee innocent child (probably like 11/12?) I stumbled on a website selling custom DMG cards for I think $50 (and this was back in the early 00s). I dunno how much custom cards are going for these days but I'd imagine more.

This is probably 80% me? QC team contributed a lot of suggestions though I couldn't use them all, and some didn't quite mesh with the ongoing gags. I'm amazed at the tcg knowledge they all had though. The Spanner doing nothing but tool puns was all me XD

My friend was over on Monday and we watched the episode...we lost it at all of the TCG references and had a good chuckle. It helps that in addition to both of us being fans of Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged, I knew about all but two of the TCGs mentioned at the end and was laughing like a maniac xD
