Gotchard's final form got taken out so easily just two weeks after being introduced

I like Tsukumo's actress, but even as a contrived love triangle story it doesn't work because Rinne and Houtarou have no chemistry together. Disappointing because this was the story's chance to get me to like Houtarou and RInne and it doesn't really do either. I keep wishing this were the Sabi and Osaka show

On the plus side, nice to see the schism between Lakhesis and Klotho. And Atropos is kind of a fun weirdo. I like it when Tsukumo is like "What's the deal with that kid?". Like yeah, that is a natural reaction to seeing a goth kid run around and performing black magic

• Kamen Rider Gotchard is the story of the main character Houtarou Ichinose, but also the story of the second main character Rinne Kudou. So, stay tuned for next episode, because a lot is going to happen and it won't stop until the very last second. The intermission is over, Kamen Rider Gotchard will raise the curtain for the next stage.

• The Gotchard Hyper Battle Video (really fun btw) is canon to the main story and is chronologically right after the Winter Movie, serving as "episode 15.75". This explains why Houtarou had FireMars in episode 29. Does that mean that Inphoenix too is...? (is MinatoP hinting that Rinne is going to get her Marsphoenix form next week?)

• Seina Tsukumo is played by Kanon Matsuzawa (who played Kei in the Faiz 20th anniversary movie Paradise Regained).

• Kajiki is still keeping in touch with Hijiri from the Kyoto School Trip Arc!

• The two students of the Comedy Research Society, Takahashi and Suzuki were respectively played by Shinnosuke Takahashi and Hirofumi Suzuki. They were casted by Director Yamaguchi and MatsuuraP.

Just watched this and last week's back to back.

Nice to see Sonoza and Kiji back, even if Kiji made the fatal mistake of insulting manga around him.

I'm glad Rinne is actually getting focus. She's going against my expectation that Valvarad would steal her spotlight.

Ugh, teenage high school drama.

The backstories and interactions of the Hades Sisters are the highlights of this episode.

Don Pink and Don Orange are too old to be high school students. They said there's a manga where the cool hero hit someone with a car. Haruka hit Don Murasame with a car.

Lmao. The mental image of this is really funny for some reason.

The acting is what's stopping me from enjoying this episodes' plotline. Well, that and the fact that these two being high schoolers hasn't been relevant to the plot much since the show started.

Granted, I can understand Kudo falling for Ichinose after all the time they've fought together, and feeling jealous because the childhood friend has come to make trouble, but there has been no outward indication that she has cared for him like that (also, doesn't she know that the childhood friend always loses?).

Lakhesis being on her Luisa Madrigal arc is the most interesting thing about this episode, and I'm curious to see where that will lead. Not gonna lie, I did have a bit of a brain fart and ask "how did she know where the base was?"

This Renge/Atropos subplot is kinda...meh? I can see how these two are supposed to be parallels to each other, but again, it just doesn't feel earned.The lore that Geryon was Atropos' father (I assume in some alchemical sense anyway) is a swerve I didn't see coming.

To be fair, Rinne doesn't show a lot of emotion in general, it's hard to tell she likes anyone in general.

I was laughing hard though out this episode and for (mostly) the right reasons.

Will Lakhesis turn back into a bad girl just because Spanner implied that she was a monster or will she get over it and be proud of being a monster?

If they were going for a Twin Peaks vibe with Rinne and Atropos they should have Sena say (after she is unfrozen): "Rinne, I was talking to a cute goth girl and you attacked me while you were walking with a monster. What the heck?"

After watching the latest Garo it's hilarious how little emotion Rinne's actress can register. Of course, she might be a great actress and they will come up with a story-line reason why her emotions are blunted.

Wow, they have a DonBrothers' Manzai comedy team on and later Renge says "Nandeyanen" to Subi.

Will Atropos get tired of Klotho not winning her fights and turn on Kotho, and Lakehesis helps Klotho escape leading to a Klotho turning into a good (but surly) girl?

Is Spanner way older than Rinne and Houtarou? It would be funny if he was the next transfer student, followed by Lakhesis and Klotho. (Klotho would become the school idol because she would respond to school bullies by stuffing them into their lockers (or the Japanese equivalent)).

Idea for future two part arc: the show turns harem anime - a chemy brainwashes Rinne, Renge, Klotho, and Lakehesis into thinking they are love rivals for Houtarou and all of them wind up physically abusing Houtarou while trying to get close to him. I would totally buy Houtarou as a wimpy clueless harem anime protagonist.
