I'm only halfway through, and I think the bones of a good story are here. But the hamfisted and rushed way it's being told is kind of unsatisfying

Jokes aside, I've always found stories where a kid loses both parents, but is okay at the end because they have new parents kinda weird. Obviously they can't have the kid sad at the end, but also, maybe they should be a little sad to lose their parents?

So if God Jamato isn't a thing, does that mean the Earth doesn't get destroyed and there are no future people? Or the Earth still gets destroyed, but the future people aren't killed by God Jamato?

I guess the crazy way this story starts is explained by it being a Jamato plot to begin with, but it feels weirdly paced. Like why were they looking for the kid when the guy just wanted the Queen Jamato back? Kid looks 10, but is actually only 6 months old (maybe less, how pregnant was the wife when they moved in?) and because he wandered around, rumors spread that he was a ghost which ultimately led the bad guys to finding and killing his parents. What a rough start!

Come to think about it, what's with tokusatsu stories about teaching monsters how to love. I mean, the only other example I can think of at the moment is Yodonna, but it's weird that it happened twice

This is a Jamato story with Buffa as the Jamato hero. Everyone else were just there for support.

Something already felt off when about the cop Aoto when he first appeared in the park. Kudos to the actor for pulling off the eerie vibe.

Nudge-Sparrow was a proud dad sending off his daughter to marriage.

When Nudge-Sparrow said the situation was not good and Ace should know what he meant, it took me a while to get what he was saying. In this universe, the mother and child will get god-like powers if the child birth was a miracle. Ace was born a miracle because he was born from future digital people who can't bear normal kids. Haruki was born a miracle because Jamato can't bear kids. The mom was going to awake as the Jamato god like Ace's mom, but when she died, Haruki started awakening.

And Aoto wanted to use this miracle to create his league of Jamato army.

When Aoto chugged down water after eating that biscuit, he didn't actually drink any. The water bottle was still full when he put it down.

I'm pretty sure the sound guy made a mistake in Dooms Geats's second transformation. There shouldn't be a "Ignition" during the "Set Judgement". "Set Ignition" was Geats IX's thing.

This is sort of my head canon around it. It wasn't enough to find the Queen Jamato. Aoto needed her to hate humanity. Once they found her and saw her family, Aoto came up with the idea of spreading rumors about her son being a ghost and create a scene where he kills her husband and making her hate humanity. I feel like the writing needed to explain that a bit more especially the part of her son.

I wonder in the one thousand years since Ace has been a god, he fell in the trap of all gods eventually end up in where their power just makes them arrogant to the point where they don't really see reason or even think there might be another way.

Speaking of Kamen Riders who became god, we need Geats vs Gaim for the title of supreme Kamen Rider god.
