Ratings for last week's episode: 4.17 out of 5 (6 votes)
Why do these dorks keep insisting on putting the big green screen window behind them. At least they could have made it a closed space so that only the top part peaks out like we had with Ace from Go-Buster
Is it weird that I feel like I'm learning the Hashiriyan characters for numbers? Plenty of chances to learn it from the belts the monsters of the week wear
lol, there's something pretty meta about the three seaters calling out Cannonborg for being such a passive villain
That looks like Cannonborg's hand thing
lol, they don't have a car that drive in space yet? But their whole thing is racing in a grand prix in space... I'm both surprised they have plans to drive in space, but they're not ready yet. It's a funny inbetween
They really are calling it Jackie Hoihoi. Okay...
I know Boonboom crashed, but how did Sakito and Byundi get to Earth? Where's their ship?
Nice entrance, Sakito lol
Huh, I don't remember 119 having the power to shoot fire
Hahaha, how many fucking weaponsa re they going to give him
Good Violet focus this episode. Did all those other weapons go into hammer space? Yep lol. It's nice we're still getting sixth ranger overpowered episodes past their intro. Surprisingly, I feel like we've gotten less of the "core member bonding with the new guy" episodes than we have in the past seasons
I don't think Cannonborg deserves this beat down, but it sure is fun to watch lol
I wonder which episode will have the three seaters joining the good guys. I'm predicting earlier than later, maybe episode 40
Don't leave him hanging, Taiya, he just saved the world
Yalcar finally gets his revenge
Whoa, they put a photo behind the giant this time lol
Monster is so stupid, please stop using it
Oh, I don't think I've ever noticed teh exhaust pipe spitting fire in their changer before
When the villain is the type that learns all your moves once you've shown them once
Tentacles on loan from Giga tokusatsu
Huh, didn't realize the window in the cockpits were green screened too. It makes sense, but never noticed it till I saw Violet put his hand in front
Hmmm, I guess this is one way of playing with all your toys while avoding the clusterfuck formation...
The visceral sound of all the cars landing is fun
In my area, the kids started school this week. So this episode really feels like an end of summer celebration. Kind of a perfect Sentai episode (could have only been better if there were more of a character arc). 5/5 stars
What? Is there some hint of an ISA conspiracy?
New arc starting next week

Re: Boonboomger 25 discussion thread
Taiya bought a whole satellite for the sole purpose of blowing it up. So rich.
Ohhh, conspiracy with the ISA. I hope the evil organization trope will pay off. I guess even if the ISA were working with the Hashiliyans, they didn't want their own planet to blow up.
Yalcar's huge "F*k you" attitude to his boss was entertaining. Cannonborg really didn't do anything meaningful in this arc. Even the show itself called him out on it.
Violet was entrusted the ShoukaBlaster, the BoonBoom Handle and the BoonBoom Change Axe, all three variants of original team's weapons. Love the choreography of that fight. This episode was more about Violet than Cannonborg's demise. It's his turning point where he truly felt he's part of the team. He addressed Taiya by name instead of just "Red" in the end.
I guess they wanted to use Monster's shark attack again since the effects guy put so much effort into it.
Why remind the viewers about MadRex? Is he going to be brought back?
Right, a hint drop of having a space BoonBoom car being built. Will they ever actually go to the race?
The third arc, the arc of finding ways to reuse old MOTW suits.

The Three Seaters were fitted with antennas from the Antenna Gurumaa (Bakuage 11), allowing them to be controlled by Cannonborg. Yaru-chan was equipped with a Fire Extinguisher from Extinguisher Gurumaa (Bakuage 21), Decotrade was equipped with the Excitetong from Tent Gurumaa (Bakuage 22), and Ittasha was equipped with the Koinobori Rod from Koinobori Gurumaa (Bakuage 10).
Sakito left Earth at the age of 10 and lived alone with Bundy. The job of a fixer was a dangerous one. There were very few people he could trust, and his days were far from peaceful. Having lived in such an environment, Sakito could not easily accept others as friends. Up until now, the six had certainly fought together, but when they entrusted Sakito with their weapons, he felt the sense of trust from them. I think one of the darkness that Sakito had been bearing disappeared at that moment. For Sakito, this was the first time he felt like he had found friends. He may have begun to feel the desire to live up to that trust... as their friend.
By the way, Shirabe-san's hair ornament was Boon-sama.

Ooh, I didn't notice that
>Why remind the viewers about MadRex? Is he going to be brought back?
That struck me as weird too, he was really only around for like a couple episodes despite being name dropped early on
>Right, a hint drop of having a space BoonBoom car being built. Will they ever actually go to the race?
I'm sure the gundam fight in hong kong, I mean the final quarter will be focused on their galaxy race
>By the way, Shirabe-san's hair ornament was Boon-sama.
oh cute

Re: Boonboomger 25 discussion thread
given what was happening in the next episode preview, I wouldn't be surprised.
what I expect to happen is either:>Right, a hint drop of having a space BoonBoom car being built. Will they ever actually go to the race?
I'm sure the gundam fight in hong kong, I mean the final quarter will be focused on their galaxy race
a) like you said, the last chunk, probably called "Final Lap" since they've already put out a poster for the next arc that calls it the "Third Lap", will be about them actually doing the race is space, whereabouts they'll finally fight and defeat the leader of all the Hashiriyans in order to actually win the race, since the MotW attacks will probably be attempts to interfere with the race.
or
b) said top boss actually gets fed up with so many of their resources being sent to this backwater planet with nothing to show for it ("Seriously, the BBGP is coming up and I NEED that Gyahsoline to fuel my winning run!") and comes down to see what the big deal is. ultimately, they end up getting beaten here on Earth, and Taiya and Boondorio are free to go race in the BBGP, possibly with some or all of the team (and likely Shirabe because she won't be able to stand being apart from her precious Boon-sama) coming with them. I can see any or all of them tagging along, because they're a team... or more than that, they're a family (obligatory Fast and Furious reference), but I can just as easily see it just being Taiya and BoonBoom because everyone else finds one reason or another to stay on Earth.
Shashiro: goes? because he's madly in love with Taiya, even if they won't say it out loud. stays? decides he's been too hung up on Taiya and needs to live for himself again and/or runs Taiya's stuff on Earth while he's away for the race.
Mira: goes? she's always down to clown and just loves adventure. stays? she's the one who decides where she goes with her life, and she's decided she wants to stay here.
Jou: goes? he's a loyal dude and enjoys getting to be a hero, so he's sticking with the BBG. stays? he's a cop, and choosing to stick around and help people.
Genba: goes? Taiya promised him a front row seat at everything he's got going on, and he's not giving that up. stays? he's a supplier. he's supplied Taiya with a clear path to the BBGP by helping get the Hashiriyans taken care of, and now he'll continue supplying people still on Earth.
Sakito and ByunDi: goes? Sakito's been Star Lord-ing it in space for most of his life anyway, and ByunDi and Boondorio are rivals, so they'll either also enter the race as a rivals or alongside Taiya and Boondorio as a team. stays? in this instance, I still see ByunDi going along for the race, but Sakito chooses to stay because he's finally gotten Earth to feel like home again.
and regardless of who does or doesn't tag along for option B, the season in this scenario will end with Taiya and Boondorio heading off to join the BBGP and then, for either scenario, the eventual team up special will involve the BBGP passing by the KingOhgers' planet and Taiya and crew either stop there for a planned pit stop or land on the planet after getting knocked off the track by an enemy attack, and then magical crossover ass pulls will get anyone who didn't come along for the race to be there (maybe Sakito and ByunDi decided to head to space and people tagged along, or the ISA got involved for some reason, or Genba just happens to have been able to provide a way to get them there for some reason).

Re: Boonboomger 25 discussion thread
Huh. Do you think the Grand Prix will be just an arc, then the Boonboomgers will return to Earth for their final showdown with the Hashiriyans? Even with KyuuRangers, I can't really remember how much of the story takes place in space

I'm glad they mentioned that they're still working on their spacefaring cars. Getting the ultimate combination at only the halfway point of the series gives me King-Ohger flashbacks, and I really don't need a repeat of that.
