A nice way to spend my Christmas morning, with a summer movie. I've been waiting for this before I caught up with the TV series.

A fairly bog standard summer movie. I miss when we used to get cool remodelled mecha. FS-0O and Tobaspino are great.

My understanding is that these movies usually complete principal photography before the 6th ranger actor is brought in, due to the fact they need to be done further ahead of time than TV episodes. So 6th ranger appearances tend to be limited.

They're better at it than they used to be. Used to be they would show up for 30 seconds and vanish without a trace, like in Gokaiger. Go-Busters at least had the decency to rust up J to give us an excuse to keep Beet and Stag out. Recently they seem to make more of an effort to give the 6ths more of a presence.

I'm not feeling Nicola at all. She could have been an object and nothing would have changed about the movie.

It's too bad that they didn't have Sakito in a separate bubble for the ED dance like they do for the show.

It is pretty funny how the timing usually works out like this with Rider usually falling in January (not sure how they got Gotchard out by November)

That makes sense, it's just sort of funny to always see the sixth ranger sidelined in these movies or off doing his completely separate adventure

They tried to parallel the princess's indecisiveness with Mira's standpoint from episode 1. It didn't really work because Mira was never this indecisive.

Felt bad for HIKAKIN.

Joe falling into the river was funny. Wonder if it's the director's order or if it's the actor's discretion.

Love everyone's reaction after Mira gave away her changer, even the princess played along. Now that she has the changer I wonder if she'll have some cameos as a ranger.

pretty standard movie.
They could have done something more the princess, she's just kind of there, no real personality or presence at all.
the action was still cool and the circuit monster having control of the cars was pretty good, loved how Genba got them back and Jo's reaction to it.
