Luckily Valen defeated exactly one Granuto in his entire career, or this revenge plot wouldn't have work.

Blizzard Sorbet is cool as hell and I like it more than CakeKing. The fight with all the ice is so awesome. Sadly it's a one-use type gochizo.

A ruthless fight over friends
The yakiniku restaurant owner was wearing a octopus shirt for some reason, so he was definitely a bad guy. Machiura Pink-san had a villainous expression resembling old yakuza movies. Although it was a short scene, it left a strong impression. By the way, there was also a small mishap on set where the chair Pink-san was sitting on broke (lol) Thank you for appearing in our show, Pink-san!
Granuto Smeal was based on an octopus motif (and oddly enough, pink in color). He was the best friend of Granuto Otake, whom Hanto once defeated... It's kind of heartwarming to imagine a mushroom and an octopus getting along so well.
Speaking of octopuses, octopus pots and octopus ink come to mind. So we decided to use ink in our mechanism. Everyone smeared ink on Hino-kun. The director was also very particular about how the ink would look, so he also applied it himself. The day of the shoot was actually extremely hot, so it must have been very tough for Hino-kun to act for four hours straight while covered in hot ink... Thank you for your hard work.
The first scene where the ink is shot is a trick that would be difficult to reshoot. Since failure was not an option, the assistant directors made meticulous preparations and it was a brilliant success.
The ice cream resurrection
During CakeKing, it was a sweet that reminded Shouma of his mother. But this time, ice cream appears as a dessert that cures unwell feelings! Did you know that ice cream is good for your health? It's true that eating ice cream after swimming in the summer or when you're tired makes you feel better!
We borrowed a food truck to supply ice cream for the filming. The props team also made a sign that said "BLIZZARD SOLBET".
Blizzard Sorbet Form is what Shouma transforms into with the Sorbet Gochizo. This was another great design that combined the pop style of a candy with a cool look, and was chosen unanimously at the meeting. The ice cream on Gavv's arm was designed to make it look like he is really licking ice cream, and Nawata-san (Gavv suit actor) came up with the action of "licking to perform an attack."
Sorbet Gochizo is a special Gochizo after CakeKing. So we discussed how to show its specialness that other Gochizou didn't have and added the ice cream-like characteristic of "melting" after used. To make it a more lovable character, it has a generous young master-like character, and a unique ending to his sentences, "bee" (hence the name "Sorbet").
We have asked voice actors Sakurai Kouki-san and Shoji Ayu-san vocing the other Gochizo, but this time we held a new voice actor audition and it was decided that it would be Kyan Kazuki-san! He has a deep, deep voice that resonates across the ocean, which was perfect for the image of Sorbet.
When Gochizou is called to heaven after use (known as "ascension" among the staff), they say "I'm so happy" (lol)
Now, about the action!
This time, the action team really put their heart and soul into creating the action. The action scenes, which used ice as a base, were filmed off-site using building scaffolding on a green screen set. It filming was quite difficult, with meticulous calculations made while imagining the finished result. The film was packed with ideas from Action Director Fujita and everyone else, including the "hit effects" that are unique to ice and the ice Gabugabu Blade.
仁義なきダチの奪い合い
焼き肉屋なのに何故かタコのシャツを着ていた焼肉屋大将、やっぱ悪い奴でした。
何より演じていただいた街裏ぴんくさんが昔の極道映画ばりの悪い表情で、短いシーンでしたが強烈な印象を残してくれました。
ちなみに現場ではぴんくさんの座ったイスが壊れてしまうというプチハプニングもありました（笑）

タコをモチーフとしたグラニュート・スミール。（奇しくも色がピンク…）
実はかつて絆斗が倒したグラニュート・オタケの親友だったという…
どちらも悪人でしたが、キノコとタコが仲良くしてるのを想像したらちょっとほっこりします。
タコと言えば蛸壺、そしてタコ墨。ということで墨を使った仕掛けが採用されました。
みんなで日野君に墨をぬりぬり。監督も染まり具合にかなりこだわって自ら塗っていました。
実はこの撮影日は猛暑日で、熱い中墨まみれで4時間くらいずっとお芝居をしていた日野君はさぞ大変だったことかと思います…。お疲れ様でした。
墨を最初にかけるカットは撮り直しが困難な仕掛けモノ。
失敗を許されない撮影のため、助監督の皆さんが入念に準備して、見事成功しました。

復活のアイスだべえ
前回ケーキングの際は、ショウマの母・みちるとの思い出のお菓子という事でケーキが新しい力を目覚めさせましたが、今回は「体調不良」に効くスイーツとしてアイスが登場！
皆さんアイスが健康に良いことは知っていましたか？
確かに、夏に水泳をした後とか疲れた時にアイスを食べると元気になりますよね！
アイスの供給元としてキッチンカーをお借りして撮影しました。
さらに、美術部さんに「BLIZZARD SOLBET」の看板もつくってくださいました。
「ソルベエゴチゾウ」によってショウマが変身した「ブリザードソルベフォーム」！
これまたお菓子のポップさとカッコよさが両立した素晴らしいデザインで、会議では満場一致で選ばれました。
腕の部分のアイスクリームは、ガヴが本当にアイスを舐めているように見せられるデザインとなっていて、縄田さんの発案で「舐めて技を出す」というアクションが生まれました。
「ソルベエゴチゾウ」はケーキングに続くスペシャルなゴチゾウということで、他のゴチゾウにはない特別感を劇中でどのように見せるか議論され、アイスならではの使うと「溶けてしまう」という特性が加えられました。
さらに愛せるキャラクターにしようと、おおらかな「若大将風」のキャラ、「べえ」という独特の語尾の言葉を喋るゴチゾウに（そこから「ソルベエ」というネーミングになりました）
ちなみに使用後のゴチゾウが天に召される（スタッフ内では「昇天」と呼ばれている）時のセリフは「幸せだぁ」です(笑)
他のゴチゾウは声優の東海林さん・櫻井さんにお願いしているのですが、今回は新規に声優オーディションが行われ、喜屋武和輝さんに決まりました！
重低音で大海原に響くようなお声の持ち主で、ソルベエのイメージにぴったりでした。
続いて、アクションについて！
今回とにかくアクション部が魂を込めてアクション構築してくださいました。
氷を足場にしたアクションは、現場以外でもグリーンバックのセットに足場をつくって撮影されています。
完成の画を想像しながら緻密に計算を重ね、撮影もかなり大変だったみたいです。
他にもアイスならではの「当たり演出」や、氷のガヴガブレイドなど、藤田さんをはじめとした皆さんのアイディアが詰まっています。
