Re: DaiRanger 02 released
I noticed that switch as well. For once, a Sentai group managed to stop a monster from growing and proceed to kill him before getting another chance to grow. That's just awesomeness.

That guy in the left kinda reminds me of Narutaki (maybe before he got problems with Decade, he got some with Dairangers)

Good episode. The series looks great, I dont know about remastering or anything but for being over 15 years old I thought the picture looked really clear. And is that the same narrator from Shinkenger? Thanks guys for doing this series, its one Ive wanted to see for a long time.

Re: DaiRanger 02 released
Great to finally find out what Nidoro Budoro (or whatever) was after 7 years of watching this episode. Still, this series is just down right amazing and truly shows how crappy the most recent Sentai series have been. Oh, and the DairenRod is still the greatest Sentai weapon ever.

Yeah, the cleaning filters add that many more hours when doing the encoding And it's still super dusty looking, but it's not as bad as before. I guess it's like that one guy said, the dust shows it's the authentic transfer or something.

Re: DaiRanger 02 released
They're allowed to switch places like that cause they're obviously WIZARDS & Wizards are allowed to break continuity. Nice see a team take the initiative and defeat the monster before he enlarges himself. Even though the show still looks dusty the quality of the picture definitely improved over the originals which was kinda hard watching at times especially since they tended to blur alot of stuff.
Defeat the Great Fire-Breathing Monster... use your Ultra Beam and... STRIKE!

In high school, I accidentally smashed the front of a soda machine trying to imitate the Dairanger commercial break in the mirror. lol

Sorry, I meant the splash/eyecatch before and after the commercial breaks.

I'm surprised no one else noticed Kazu works as a hairdresser. xD
Re: DaiRanger 02 released
^ I did
I call shenanigans on when Souji cut Rin's head mask, she was pretty close to Souji, but this was made pretty quite back so ill let it slide :p
edit: I also lol'd on how RyuSeiOh is controlled by both an orb that we see around the house for the most part and by kung-fu

Re: DaiRanger 02 released
The scene with the basketball game was interesting because it took place in an area with graffiti. Sometimes I think the locations in the modern series feel too sterile with they way everything is so neat and orderly.
I wasn't expecting Doushi to use a TV to show Shouji an instant replay of his fight. It was so weird. How in the world did he even record it? Shouji and the monster were the only ones there and there was footage of Shouji doing TenJuuSei JuuRyoku Gyakuten Ha.
The way Commander Zaidos and Commander Gara shot those energy strings from their fingers reminded me of an attack Frieza does in Dragonball Z.

Re: DaiRanger 02 released
That's even more advanced than that other old sentai I watched. The HQ had cameras everywhere. Everywhere the group went, HQ would be sure to track them and record the battles.Arigomi wrote:I wasn't expecting Doushi to use a TV to show Shouji an instant replay of his fight. It was so weird. As I watched the year the series first aired, it's old hat to me.gh0stwrit3r wrote:I'm surprised no one else noticed Kazu works as a hairdresser. xD
