And if he realizes the truth, he could attempt to change accordingly, making it a win win.

It still continues to confuse me why people want less businesses in the anime industry just because it's not done the "right" way. Or that people still think the "right" way is the right way.

Anyway, I think that if you want toku to flourish, you want Kamen Rider W. All I would recommend is rework the cases, crank up the noir, and recolor the humor so that the so-called "funny" bits don't have flashing neon lights that say "THIS IS THE PART WITH THE JOKES." Don't assume that you need to talk down to the audience or have intentional joke characters.

If Cartoon Network can run an made-in-house live-action series where the bad guys are shooting actual guns, there's hope.

It's called "Unnatural History." The ads that were out before the premiere had guys in dark clothing shooting realistic handguns, and the most recent episode apparently included the Russian mob.

I don't have any intention of watching it (and even if I did, I work on Sundays), but I'm hopeful it does well.

I actually agree with all of you, I don't have a grudge against America, but it's just that the way they butcher extremely good anime (Like Naruto and Sasuke's kiss scene in Naruto <_< or making Neptune and Uranus Cousins while it was very obvious it was a lot more than that) makes me wanna throw things at the network companies. Europe used to dub straight from the uncut Japanese versions (Not sure about UK, as UK sometimes doesn't consider themselves being in Europe, go figure why <_<) but now they get the crappy american cut versions. But at least with Power Rangers back into Saban's hands we will hopefully see a rise in it! I actually can't wait to see how Power Rangers Samurai* will turn out.

I agree with you. I don't know about UK, but in Greece, where I live, they were (Japanese shows are not shown in Greece anymore, the last one was Sailor moon) dubbed. I learned in a Greek ranger forum that the season will have this name: Power Rangers Samurai Strike. Me too, I want to watch the Saban edition, but I don't think it would be better that Shinkenger.

Off course it won't! What I'm saying is that I hope the story-line will be at least as bad-ass as the Shinkengers and that they keep ShinkenBlue the comic relief of the group :)

So, Shinkenger has been confirmed to be the next series Saban (now that they have the rights to Power Rangers back) is going to adapt?

Seeing as KRDK also aired in Japan, is it really that surprising?

Who knows? It's not like the tokusatsu industry is very big so it's probably best to keep friends with everyone yeah?

Adness is a licensing company that does production and distribution. It is not a television station.

It's just called Power Rangers Samurai as it turned out. No Strike. And I called that last month, so the announcement saved me an IMDB edit.
