So the head mechanic is basically another Kenta but way smarter though. I can understand why the mechanic's father doesn't want him to die in battle but he needs to live his own life. I love how MegaRed thought he was about to blow up DeltaMega before he could even use it in battle. Also how Toei screw up the positioning of the WabiNejire when it split into two? One second they were one side and the next, they switched sides without any transition of doing it.
That static effect was really neat, I thought it really added to the subs. I like the mecha design's for Mega their simple & to the point no unnecessary doodads. You know know that you bring it up Kubota really does resemble George Costanza, that's very weird & strangely interesting at the same time. Also couldn't help noticing that both WaniNejire had some distinct coloring to them just like a certain Rider. It's weird what one picks up watching these old series along with more current ones.
Defeat the Great Fire-Breathing Monster... use your Ultra Beam and... STRIKE!
Why would they have a self-destruct mechanism and why would they have it right next to the startup mechanism? I guess Suu from Love Hina was right, I guess it is just something that mad scientists do.
Man they sure did build DeltaMega fast though. I mean that thing is as big as GalaxyMega and they manage to throw it together in a few days? Then again, the cities do manage to get rebuilt every week so I suppose Japan's just better at building stuff than we are.
Oh and something came to mind this episode. GalaxyMega is the spaceship that the Professor and I-Net are on, right? So when the MegaRangers call down GalaxyMega to fight, everyone's still in there while the monster is beating the crap out of it? That must suck for them.
Not only has a self destruct in the most stupidest place (not in the head control room). It's not even labeled. Then it accepts any disc to activate? So... it can be a bomb for a city, if a villain stole it. Bad designing all around.
i remember watching the PRiS version of this episode, and thinking
"how stupid of PR to not explain 2 identical slots next to each other. there must be a reasonable explanation for it in the sentai. especially as 'Andros' is having trouble choosing between them"...
it was a great episode , especially in the opening fighting scene to see Pegasus motors from Carranger in the back ground. But DeltaMega could have been built on the other side of earth and just recently docked with GalaxyMega this episode.
