Lol.
Well, I like the movie, didn't like the girl, but that doesn't matter.
I found out that Dororo in manga doesn't have an end. So it's little awkward knowing that.

Oh good, it's over.
Anyway, I liked this movie too, although I watched it without subtitles; the scenes with lots of talking were rough, though. I'll have to watch the subbed version later.

Oh yeah, I remember that game! I played through it on a rental one summer. It was fun for me, although I'm probably biased since I like a bunch of stuff that's based on Osamu Tezuka's work. I never got to the end of the game though - I'll have to hunt that down too sometime. But I can't imagine how they'd make an ending for the series, unless the main characters got dragged to hell and back.Runba wrote:yeah the creator died
Sega made an ending in their game Blood Will Tell... super rare..
also the Dororo movies will have an ending.

Ah, I see. Well, an ending is an ending.
Yeah, he left a lot of his work undone when he passed on; he probably died from sheer exhaustion. One of the hardest working manga-ka in history for sure.

Just saw the movie and I must say I enjoyed it throughly. I can't wait for the next does anyone have any release information? Also I think I saw the girl that played Dororo in another movie I think it was Suicide Club but I'm not sure.

Cool, hopefully Universal Studios won't edit the movie in anyway.

Re: Dororo
It would be kinda cool to have this on dvd... and even though I've seen it... I think I'll buy it.
Re: Dororo
Thats pretty likely, seeing as Universal funded most of the project for the original Japanese release. Its great to see this movie licensed. I bought the Special Edition Box for the Japanese release (when we initially subbed it) So hopefully they'll bring over the bonus materials as well. Hopefully it does well enough to warrant bring over the second and third movies as well (after they're released).DekaChief wrote:Cool, hopefully Universal Studios won't edit the movie in anyway.
Ideally, yes, I'd like to complete the trilogy, but it depends on Universal. If they find it profitable enough to announce a release after the Japanese dvds come out, we'll honor that of course. If they decide to wait a year like they did with the first movie, you'll likely see a TN version to pass the time.Runba wrote:So.. do we still get to see the sequels here at TV-N?
And yes... I will be buying this movie again for the American release.
