put a video in full screen and things get blocky. - Win7

Post by Aeikozz »

Okay first off thanks for any help.

I just recently got a new pc. I installed CCCP and nothing else.

When i watch the videos in normal aspect they are fine. but when i click full screen they end up being not very clear and quite blocky.

I've updated all my video drivers and everything.

I can't seem to figure this out.

Any help is appreciated.

Are you watching the SD on a higher resolution monitor? If so, you're going to see more of the flaws from the lower resolution video. Just get the HD version.

HD or SD? Have you tried using a different player?

there has been some remarks from people using MPC-HC lately that playback has been less than perfect, I guess its losing its edge in the playback world now, I guess the developers need to amp up on the development work to improve integration with codecs

I would recommend switching to a player like GOM, I havet has a single issue with getting anything to play back in that.

Thanks, Azazel

okay, i'll install GOM and give it a try.

that makes me cry, i've been using that player since wow..since high school along with winamp. I do hope the developers pick up their game and fix it. i don't want it to fade into the darkness.

just to clarify, which version of MPC where you using?

Was it the original MPC or the new updated MPC-HC?
