Monster Hunter P3 HD issues

Looks like people are having issues with losing their save files. I mean, in a country where they love their Monster Hunter, having only 16 people give it 5 stars and 144 giving it a 1 star is a big deal:

In other news, it seems like there might be problems with localizing that game for the US:

By the way, I found kotowari.org from the podcast the guy does called My Fair Hunter, in which he trains a person completely unfamiliar with the game to Monster Hunter Tri.

I noticed that the Japanese Adhoc Party had an update last night. So I checked the reviews on Japanese Amazon and it looks like the issues that Adhoc Party had for HD have finally been fixed.

One review said that the issues have mostly been fixed after "two months of waiting". Previously adhoc party had issues with jumping to friends, losing connection when playing with people playing on the PSP, characters not displaying properly when bathing together, comments not displaying, and text chat requiring a keyboard to work. Right now his only complaint is the required keyboard.

So if you were hesitant before about importing it, I guess it's less of an issue now? There's a review that tells you about the game and how to connect here. Note, small guest star by Spoony and other Channel Awesome people:
