Official procedure for requesting new projects...
Just trying to ascertain the whole process behind the selection of shows, be it tokusatsu, anime, etc. How are projects chosen? If a member wanted to pitch an idea for a potential new project/series, where would be the most appropriate place in the forums to post such a request?

Re: Official procedure for requesting new projects...
Unless someone is planning on joining the team to actively work on the project, it's not really practical for the fanbase to be making requests for new shows. There's really no way we'd be able to sub all the shows that people ask us to do.
People make requests all the time, but in general I don't pay attention to those kinds of posts.

Ah... Guess I should've figured as much. Still, just had to ask, if only to satisfy my own curiosity... Okay, is there anyplace where the members might be inclined to discuss/debate amongst themselves, hypothetically of course, the merits of a particular show/series as being a potentially good choice for a project sometime in the unspecified future? (hypothetically speaking of course) Off-topic, or elsewhere, perchance?

Re: Official procedure for requesting new projects...
Well, if someone to make a request, being polite and having a compelling argument would be the two key factors I would look at. I mean, if it's a series that a group member were interested in working on, they would probably see it and say so, I think

Re: Official procedure for requesting new projects...
I appreciate your candor, I shall have to give careful thought regarding this matter. I have something in mind, but I need to sort this out. I want to make as good presentation as possible, and make my plea as cogent as possible...
EDIT: Well never mind, it was all for naught... As I was gathering some info to make my case, I discovered that the anime series that I was going to request has in fact been licenced (It was Sasami Mahou Shojo Club, BTW...) It is scheduled for release sometime this year, whether by that they mean to be televised, or go directly to DVD is unclear at this point. At any rate it's all academic at this point.... Thanks anyway for your time and patience...

I know only you guys that you're the only one fansubbing group that subs live action movies...
If you don't wanna do it, then it's ok by me and i appreciate your answer...

Re: [REQUEST] for sub
I haven't seen it, but if it hasn't been subbed in 28 years, maybe it's kind of terrible and not worth subbing?

Re: [REQUEST] for sub
I think... it's one of those movies that has to be better if you can't understand it. I've not seen the whole thing, but I have watched parts, and it looks pretty terrible. Something that only HK sub humor could save.

Re: [REQUEST] for sub
Everybody said that this live action i found was kind of a collection...Yet very rare to be found...I also heard rumors that they'll gonna remix this movie to a new one nowadays because of the terrible resolution and graphic issues...They also want it to be better than the old one...
Should we wait till it'll be done by then ...?If it's fine by you then ok...
Thank you for your kind replies and if you want lock this thread...
